@@SouthysFishing me neither but I look forward to hooking one. I had a 40kg yellowfin of the rocks in CV and that was something different. Are you taking people out fishing or just enjoying yourself on the boat?
@ Haha! I use a Mavic Air 2 mate, if you’re going to get one, make sure you get the one that has active tracking as then you can just select the boat and it’ll follow it or lock on to you fishing. The lower models don’t have this feature. They are a good bit of kit, I’ve had some close calls on the sib I tell ya 😂 I actually hate flying it from the boat.
Hello mate thanks for the comment. My cover is rolled up at the back of the boat. Have a look at my other videos you will see what I mean 👍. Do you enjoy your boat?
@@SouthysFishing Ah that's nice and tidy, not sure my cover rolls that neatly as its very heavy duty. Only bought my boat 6 months ago. Bit of a novice so I took a risk but yes Ive had a good summer although haven't been brave enough to venture further than the Solent on my own. That's enough to keep me going for now. Enjoy the channel its better than most and you get some good unusual angles. I also sometimes use a charter boat from Langstone with an older skipper called Pete Kilshaw. His boat is the slowest thing on the water but he has a bass licence and he knows his marks. Keep up the good work.
Nice mate I only got mine in April too but it’s been a cracking boat, I’ve had some really long days out in it day and night and love it! Perfect size too to trailer about if needed but mine does sit in a mooring.
Can’t believe I saw Bluefin Tuna smashing bait off the coast of Brighton! 🎉
Get a heavy popping set up and try to catch one. Should be fun!
@ if you look closely, you may see one already in the rod holder 😉
@@SouthysFishing missed that. Have you tried to catch, or have you caught one on spinning tackle?
@@Hooked-Fins I haven’t no 😎

Nice Tuna footage buddy 👌🏻
Thanks Ben. Was going to fly the drone up but it was too windy 🤦
@ what drone are you using on the boat mate? I fancy one but would probably lose the will to live watching it drop into the sea 😂

@ cheers mate il have a look
What bass set up do you use , looks like a twin power reel ? Great videos btw 😊
Hey, it is a HTO nebula rod with a Shimano Stradic reel. I have linked it in the description 👌 thanks for watching. Have a nice evening!
I have the same boat as you (Southampton), I noticed you haven't your cover on board with you, do you leave it in the marina?
