  • One difference between the Suttas and the Abhidhamma is the different levels at which the Buddha taught within each. Conventional Truth is the everyday language which we use to communicate ordinary things. The Abhidhamma, however, breaks down Conventional Truth into its constituent parts - the Four Ultimate Truths of:
    1. Citta (Consciousness / Knowing) - divided into 89 kinds
    2. Cetasika (Mental Qualities e.g. intention, compassion or hatred) - 52 kinds
    3. Rupa (Matter) - 28 kinds
    4. Nibbana - is not divisible
These are Ultimates in the sense that you cannot analyse any them any further. The whole of our experience, both in mind and body, can be explained in terms of Citta , Cetasika, Rupa.
What the Abhidhamma demonstrates is that we called 'mind and matter' are not static entities but are really shorthand terms for a fluid changing dynamic process.

This is very impressive. You have gone through the most ultimatum. "Patavi" , "Apo", Thejo" and "Vayo" with "Space" create the body ("Naama") where it would driven by the "Rupa"; 6 faculties of sources such as Seeing, Hearing, Smelling-Taste-Somatosensory and the accumulated consciousness ("Rupa") which accumulates via Five-Gates. Thank you so much for your effort. Wonderful!

Katatammo Channel, gullible is a person who believes almost anything you tell them - this person is easy to trick or to fool. They are gullible.

Awkward has different explanations. It can mean a situation or activity which is a little difficult to manage - a bit fiddly; a bit uncomfortable. It can also mean a person who behaves in a way causes slight discomfort to themselves or others.
