That’s her dad’s money, not hers. What her mom talking is Miley’s money. Miley is the richest and most famous in the family no doubt even at her younger age. And that’s why she had the ability to move out and live independently however she wanted, unlike her siblings or other kids her age.

She’s clearly talking about Lindsay’s past. We were there, and we witnessed what she went through and the things she did over the years. The comparison is valid and explains her thought process well. No need to be so sensitive.
I think she's saying sometimes you can be too hard on your kids to the point you push them away (Miley had the means to leave and not listen to her parents, which could have had her out there like Lindsay). She was wise enough to let Miley go through her phase and make sure she didn't end up with the wrong ppl in the process.
that's my point tho? we should let these people finally leave the past in the past, especially when they have moved past it. "no need to be sensitive" easy for you to say, imagine trying to move on with your life and yet people keep bringing up your mistakes from ages ago and you see your name being used that way in headlines constantly, I'm sure Miley herself can relate (at a smaller scale) her mom could've made the exact same point without naming Lindsay (or anyone else).
