The game is loading only opening as if nothing is wrong but i cant press the play section on top or see the 3d character models before the game crashes even when i deleted everything related to the mods
for me the skins aren't showing up inthe game. i installed the mod manager, downloaded and turned on the mods in the mod manager, and even checked the game files to see if the ~mods folder was there and with the files inside of it and everything looks correct but the skins aren't showing up in game for some reason

Ok i found out the problem: You put the original file of the mod inside the ~mods folder. What you must do is to remove the Donwloaded files and put them elsewere, then you will be able to switch them on and off. (You can't do it mid-session)
I figured out how to fix it. I think the glitch only happens for epic games so you have to launch it from the mod manager first then you alt f4 and launch it from the epic games launcher

@@grishamason1855 If it's not a pak the developer probably left instructions on the mod page. If that mod page isn't nexusmods or some other trusted site however theres a chance it's not a .pak because it's not a mod

You just don’t have file extension names enabled. Just make sure it’s the the executable. You find the game folder for epic or steam. Just copy and paste the path from when I show you how to get to game root directory
i can't seem to get mines to work it when i opened up the manager exe file it says "welcome to marvel rivals mod manager select you game folder to start" I am struggling in installing some mods
First there is no cross progression yet, so you cant link the same account on different platforms, and second even if you could it wont work because the mods only work on PC in the files.
You created the folder "~mods". Now when you go to select a folder you dont select this one, you go a few steps back and select the folder named "MarvelRivals"(the global folder of the game).
when i extract the mod files with winrar it leads me to a page about extraction settings, then doesn't create a .pac file. And if i try to just put the game file I think I extracted, a buncha russian shows up on the screen
i did it all correctly but the game wont stop crashing now that its installed plus after deleting everything the game still wont stop crashing... 10/10 video though!

All mods are .pak files. If it’s not then you haven’t unzipped it

you don't have to use the mod manager it's just another way to do it all you have to do is just drag the mods to the mod folder not mod manager

im unzipping the files but its a different file type like rar. do you know why?
rar file is the same as a zip file but its zipped with win rar, you can right click and extract here for the same thing
