This is such a wonderful pattern. Thank you for sharing it. I'm using regular Red Heart (medium 4) yarn, not chunky, and a much smaller hook (4.25) to create a pillow for my living room. I love that the pattern is tight so that the pillow form can't be seen through the pattern and it will keep it's shape well.
I love this pattern! Easy enough for a beginner like me, but looks more interesting than a basic stitch! I love your videos, always easy to follow! Thank you!
Love this , but why is one side not straight? I did count my stiches. Unless its supposed to be ike that? Also after finishing the last row for the 1st panel do I chain one ?
Warning to others than her extended single crochet is not the standard found online. Online it starts as a normal single crochet but then you pull through the first loop, yarn over, and then finish the crochet. Will be trying her method next to since i like the pattern more
I think that a blanket would be very thick with this stitch, if that’s the look you’re going for, go for it! ☺️ A dishcloth would be amazing with this stitch!
Okay, this is a beautiful pillow cover, I love the stitch, and the color but this is NOT A BEGINNERS VIDEO or PATTERN, for this to be for a beginner you need to explain a little more the stitch you’re making and the transitions from row to row which you kept cutting off. Like, at the end of the row, do you chain ONE or TWO before turning. You start with chains 32 but you have 31 stitches per rows. That’s something a beginner might be wondering why. It’s a great video nonetheless, I just wouldn’t make a beginner watch it because, while I’ve moved from beginner to intermediate now, it would still cause a lot of questions. Thank you
BEAUTIFUL!!! The pattern and tutorial seem to be easy enough to follow and understand; thank you so much! I’ve been searching for the “right” pillow and this is it, at last! I will probably end up naming far too many in several colors, but I can’t help it, lol; I really like your “extended single” - I can’t wait to get my yarn and get started! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! ☺️🫶🏻🧶 hugs from freezing temps Ohio! 🥶 Lisa
I know the pattern and the stitches are easy. I count my stitches but continuously have one side that is not straight. Any other suggestions on what I might be doing wrong ? I have restarted this project too many times to count. #helpafriendout
Go back and watch how she starts the begging of each row and at the end of each row. That’s what determines the shape. Also ALWAYS count your stitches. Use a stitch marker after you make the first stitch in every row. That way you won’t lose your place and know where to count stitches from.
When getting done with the first panel do you tie a knot or just leave the loop? I see that you left a loop on one of the panels which I’m assuming is the second one you made.
Can someone help me? I’ve taken this out SO MANY TIMES. My ends keep not being straight. One side is too long and then other one is too short. Her video shows her chaining 1 after each row, but her written tutorial says to chain 1 after the sc only. I can’t figure out which one I should be doing and what I am doing wrong here. Whenever I count 31, there’s usually another stitch that is in my row that I feel needs to be stitched. Idk. This is not a beginner video at all.
You should clarify both in the video and the written pattern when to chain one. It isn't clear. I've been trying this pattern for days and just by following your instructions, it tends to add stitches on one side.
You just single crochet normal to the second ch but you don’t go through all 2 loop but you go single crochet on the same single crochet that you did but the bottom of it and then you go through all 3 loop
If you know how to single crochet, you will get it. Don’t give up! I used to stop and repeat videos over and over, but finally got it. Dani is actually an excellent designer and instructor.

I like this stitch. I think I will try a blanket with it.

Love this pattern and stitch! Making a blanket with it now. Wondering if it would work well for a dishcloth?
I think that a blanket would be very thick with this stitch, if that’s the look you’re going for, go for it! ☺️

So cute! How can we wash this pillow safely?
I followed this video exactly, counted every stitch, chain turn, but everytime it gets thinner at the top and I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong ☹️
Did you ever figure it out?
There is a tutorial in here on how to align your crochet and it’s really helpful. I just forgot the name of it. Search it up and it will work well.

Just beautiful❤
Is this suitable for practicing the basic stitches? I have never tried crocheting so is this maybe to high-achieving for the beginning? :D
Hello..so I'm wanting to make my pillow sizes..pillow #1 26x26 and pillow #2 20x20...how many chain per pillow will I need?
Fantastic stitch
Thanks a lot

Underrated
Terrific pattern!❤
Thank you!!
Are you supposed to chain 1 at the end of every row?

Yes, first one you fasten off, second one you don’t so you can use the same yarn to join around

How many chains and rows she do. And what color yarn she use.
Can I do this project with 3 ply yarn?
Love your videos!
😊
Aw, thank you so much! 🥰
Pattern:
Ch32
R1: second chain from hook, sc to end of row.
I edit it when I am up to that part
How do you remove the pillow insert?
Can you surface crochet on this pattern?
thanks !
uhhhhhh... it's seems to be an amazing cushion, but can someone tell me the rounds? I can't play audio :(

Would any size 6 super bulky work? I am thinking lion brand thick and quick.
Yes! LB T&Q would work as well 👌🏼
Muss man dann immer: einfach, erweitert und immer so weiter?
Don’t call it a beginner video unless you explain each stitch in detail!
She did it I even got it and it so easy.
You just single crochet normal to the second ch but you don’t go through all 2 loop but you go single crochet on the same single crochet that you did but the bottom of it and then you go through all 3 loop
I agree
this is how to make a pillow not how to crochet.
I agree a lot of them i had no idea which one she was inserting
Did you use 450 gram of yarn?
Yes they did, it says in the description
Where can I buy those type of hooks?
It's linked in the description of this video 😊
🙏🏼🙌🏼🙏🏼👍🏼🥰👍🏼🥰🙏🏼🙌🏼🙏🏼
Jesus loves u guys
Yes and he loves you too! Praise Jesus...
As a beginner, this is not beginner friendly. Find another video.
I’ve never crocheted before and I am sorry to say but
En castellano x favor gracias
You keep turning work away from the camera
I’m giving up shes going to fast and I’m not understanding the information she’s giving

You should practice crocheting something easier like a dishcloth
