Dearest Heather, you continue to AMAZE me with your creativity. This feels and looks as though I could step through that door and enter an enchanting world. The sky, the details right down to nail heads are REMARKABLE!!! OUTSTANDINGLY BEAUTIFUL!! Thank you for ceaselessly giving us your creative spirit. xoxo
There are so many tiny details that SHOULD be added here, but it was very satisfying to bring it even to this level. Sharing this stuff with you means the world to me, Dawn...I know that you always see beyond appearances to the wordless state that moves me when MAKING! Huge hugs, girl - so blessed to know and love ya. xoxo

Aha! Now we see where playing with the Arteza acrylic paints have led your imagination. WOW! Beautiful project. I could watch and listen to you make anything, so calming. Thanks :- )
Sweet Donna: you never fail to lift me up, girl: thank you! xoxo
For someone who isn't used to a painting much, you are doing an amazing job girl! Kudos! Really a mesmerizing sky.
Skies absolutely entrance me, @DM_Momma...thank you for being so kind to me, my friend. xoxo
Precioso mi dulce Miga, Aurelia
The smaller the details, the bigger the impact. Those “nailheads” are everything. Again your work never ceases to amaze me.
Hello, darlin'...this was such a delight to create! I dote on details, but never seem to have enough time to devote to them! xoxo
I had the wonderful treat of watching your video while I baked bread for my family today. I loved it! And I would have swore that castle was going to he made of clay! You continue to amazing me friend❤❤ Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours!!
Happy Thanksgiving, dear Ara. I can just see you baking today, surrounded by your family, laughter in the air as you relax together. That's a GOOD vision. Making the castle from nothing but a sheet of cardstock was so fun. 😘
Love it love it love it!!!!!!

Dear Rachael - I am absolutely delighted that you like this one, girl. Yep. xoxo
Beautiful job and brilliant idea!!!
Heather, I have to ask: are you a trained voice over artist? You have a lovely, well-modulated and clear voice. It’s so pleasant to listen to you!
Stunning! Just absolutely stunning! My god girl, you just keep getting better and better!!!!! Awesome. Thank you for sharing, Heather! Wonderful inspiring project. The little ivy vine you did a while back for your Gothic piece (I think) would look just brilliant on this! 🌹Rosie of Oz 🇦🇺
It's Rosie! Hello, Bella. I agree - ivy would be a wonderful addition. Thank you for being so very kind. xoxo
Another piece that takes the heart to another time and place
Oh, Lisa...that's the idea....I'm thrilled that you like it, darling. xoxo
Wonderful!!!❤️
That is fabulous! I only just found your channel and am binge watching 🙂. I don’t have a Cricut but seeing your work makes me want to rush out and buy one right now. Just need to find a place for it in my very cramped workspace!
You never fail to amaze me! And every time I think that you are done, you put another layer of detail on and it's always worth it. I'm looking forward to see more of what is dreamed up in that beautiful mind of yours.
Hey, Josi! What a lovely thing to say, my friend: thank you. xoxo
OMW. Your creativity just astounds me. P.S. I have not sent you anything yet. Will send a letter when I do to explain. In the meanwhile I have been catching up on all your old tutorials as well as Ara Bentleys and a few others. I am captivated.
Hi Barbara! Thank you for watching, my friend. And I look forward to your letter and anything else you care to share, girl. xoxo
Красота!)

Hi Margaret! This was a joy to design and to build, my friend...thank you for your kindness. xoxo
Oh my!! I love this so much.... is this where the deserted boudoir is to be found... I wonder.... every tiny detail just captures the imagination... WOW!!!
If only one had weeks to lavish detail on each piece, Shirley! And why wouldn't the Abandoned Boudoir be nestled within these ancient walls? Makes perfect sense to me! Huge hugs! xoxo
Wow, Wow, wow❤❤❤, so wondefful, amanzing ❤
Hey, @LoKe Art! Thank you, my friend. This was so fun to do. xoxo
You are always surpising me with your imagination!!!!!
Much love to YOU, Maria! Thank you for being here with me, my friend. xoxo
Another great video Heather! I always learn sooo much from them Thanks for sharing your knowledge!
Yay! If they are able to help you learn anything, then I am a happy video maker, my friend! Thank YOU for watching. xoxo
This so beautiful. I love the clouds they look like something Id see in an church. Amazing details and work as ever. I wish I could make this. I was hoping to see some of your mini roses on the tower!
Hello, darling. Someday, I dream of painting tiny Baroque Ceilings with billowing clouds .... it would be amazing to get good enough to pull that off, girl. If I could make rose in this scale, I'd probably do it all day long! Too tiny for these fingers. Yep. 😅😘
Stunning and inspiring as always Heather 🤩 the resin nail heads are really effective!! 😍💖✨✨✨
Doing those nail heads was so satisfying, Lisa. Good therapy, girl. xoxo
This is very detailed and beautifully done..I love the detail work on the outside of it and the tiny faux bolts are adorable ,even though it was time consuming..Your painting throughout was meticulous , I love this and anyone given this would certainly treasure it 😀
That is very kind of you to say, Christine. I see so many things that could be done BETTER than I've managed here, but I had a wonderful time with the project, and feel as though it taught me a great deal, my friend. xoxo
OMG gorgeous!!! Happy Thanksgiving Heather...
Hi Geri Ann! Happy Thanksgiving, girl. Grateful for YOU! xoxo
I love this so much I love castles and architecture of that time period., happy Thanksgiving Heather xoxo
We love our history, don't we, Cindy? Evoking that time period just makes me happy! xoxo
@@Thicketworks Yes indeed in fact Im watching Reel truth history Documentaries and as long as they keep the authenticity that makes them historical I love it yes some are crumbling but most have that artistry that the stone workers ], men carving beautiful arches, and mantels yes I geek out and the last hundred years builders don't build like they did centuries ago..xoxo
Oh my god. Do you realize just how wonderful and creative and special you are? This is amazing. Even if I never get around to making this triptych (which come on you know I won't, lol), the tips and details for creating faux looks will be added to my creative bag of tricks for future use. I've seen you harden chipboard before but not cardstock. That is a great tip. I'm definitely going to add the drying retarder to my amazon wish list. How much does the drying time change? I've been trying to get my craft paints to be as workable as Debi's Design Diary DIY Paint. At least for a little while so I can blend them. I showed my hubby your hand seamer. He rolled his eyes. He is a sheetmetal worker and thought it was funny you were using one for paper. If I ever need to use one, I can just step out to the garage 😀 Thank you for sharing your beautiful work.
Dear Donna, do YOU realize how wonderful, special and creative YOU are? Seriously - you are a sponge for knowledge, you know how to convert that knowledge into the best practices for you to realize your dreams, and you're an entrepreneur! Talk about special.
I hope that you'll take any and all techniques that suit you and turn them into allies, girl.
I'd say that the extended drying time for acrylics when using the retarder depends entirely on how much you add. I've heard that folks have had canvases stay sticky for days when they used too much, but my surfaces were entirely cured over night.
It made me laugh to hear about your husbands reaction to the Hand Seamer usage - he obviously doesn't understand just how important a sharp PAPER crease can be!😜 Thank you for your exceptional kindness, and for the much needed giggle! xoxo
Heather Tracy ❤️
So much wonderful detail, exquisite as always. A little off topic, but can you tell me where you purchase your 1,2,3 blocks? Does Harbor Freight carry them or only online somewhere? Thank you again for another inspiring tutorial.
Hi Andrea! I haven't seen 1-2-3 Blocks at Harbor Freight...but I got mine on Amazon for a reasonable price. Thank you for your kind words, my friend. xoxo
Have you tried water colour pencils for detailing?
Hi Michelle. I have worked with WC Pencils in the past - they are a great tool, my friend. xoxo
Are the designs just for the Cricut Maker or can you print it out the design on a regular copy machine? even tho it would be a LOT of cutting by hand (can´t afford a Cricut Maker) I really wanna give this one a try...
This is sooooo beautiful! :)
Hey, @Crix Joki! It would be super difficult for you to do this by hand, my darling. If you are interested, I have a friend who will cut and deboss the files for you, for a reasonable fee. You can send me an email here, and I'll put you in touch with her: heather@thicketworks.com
xoxo
@@ThicketworksThank you for giving me another option :) does she send worldwide tho....I´m in Sweden....
