Oh, Darlin'! If you'd only experienced the full on blast off of the "Back in Black" tour of long ago! Even through the fog of herb and time, their presence stands out to this day. Remember, I'm as old as these guys, so can't see Brian as a Grandpa, or Angus as anything other than a raucous schoolboy. But, they can still rock my granny drawers off!

If my band made me just 50K or 100K a year for decades I would call my band thriving, not dead.
Drew Jeers they wouldn’t be dead, but they also wouldn’t be considered one of the greatest hard rock acts. The only reason they are today is the whole surviving the 70s, 80s, and 90s without breaking up or without a hit of some sort. After that, it’s iffy, but now it’s becoming to start all over again with their new album. Without Brian, I think they wouldn’t have gotten past the late 80’s. Then again, I’d still like them, just not as much.

My original disagreement was calling a band with members making as much as doctors dead and I think they would have found a decent singer fit and had the work ethic to keep making a name for themselves and probably still be going to date.
That's saying nothing against Brian. I think he was the perfect replacement.
Actually The Youngs wanted to disband post Bon Scott.....but Bon's parents told that their son wouldn't want AC/DC to stop.....so they told Malcolm and Angus to continue.....in a way Mr. and Mrs. Scott saved AC/DC as well

Exactly. Every time I.put an AC/DC CD on I'm smiling from ear to ear & my hearts rocking an ears are dancing. It's one cd you can say you can listen to from start to finish non stop. I even got my mom listening to them a coiple years ago. She loves it. She loves Ang's duck walk too. My moms a baby boomer too. She posts alot of ACDC videos on her FB timeline anymore. 🙂

My father died last month. The only thing that thrills me is that his last wish was to listen to ACDC's last track, "Shot in The Dark". After years of listening to the 10,000 or so CDs they had, I'm glad it was ACDC who rocked him on his big trip.

Brian saved the band more than once. He's a great down to Earth guy, and I will forever love him and the rest of the guys that have been a part of AC/DC.
He really is an outstanding guy. I look forward to any video with him. Always love hearing him talk. He is definitely a fun, out going, kind hearted guy. Would love to meet him personally. Great guy.

Dislikes today are not the same as they were a year or two ago. UA-cam has really diversified the videos it recommends to established users - I frequently get recommendations for things I've never cared about. And the easiest way to explain to UA-cam that you don't want those kinds of recommendations is to dislike.

ACDC have produced the most amazing tribute album for Malcolm. And in doing so tapped directly into what makes ACDC the greatest rock band of all time. POWER UP is like an album from the late 70's. It's literally a time machine back to the core essence of ACDC. It's pretty obvious that POWER UP will be the greatest album of 2020. It's something amazing in a year littered with bad news, pain and sadness.

Im sorry but i have to dissagree. You say its like an album from the 70's??.. have you heard Let There Be Rock?.. Powerage?... need i go on?. Angus's solos lately seem nothing more than " fill -in's" compared to early days. The production seems " sterile" compared to the " raw" sound of the early years. Ive loved DC since the 70's, and still do, but everyone raving over the new album has me scratching my head in wonder. The new akbum, i think , is ok at best, a few moments here and there...but it's no Highway To Hell. But regardless i'll be in the queue when the tour comes around....waiting to see/ hear the " old" classics that put DC where they are.😄👍

The thing I love about Brian is that he makes me feel like I've been friends with him for years, even though I haven't met him. I feel like I'm having a conversation with him when I watch stuff like this even though I've never been able to say anything to him. He always puts a smile on my face and makes me happy, ever since I first got into AC/DC before I could walk. thank you Brian. I've worked in the music business for over 30 years, and I have been privileged to have met Brian a couple of times backstage and chatted one on one about vintage cars and music. He is as genuine a guy as you're ever going to meet. That guy you see there in this video, that's who he is! Down to earth, humble, funny, and a bit of a dork. Saw ACDC for the first time in 2001 for their "stiff upper lip" tour. Saw them in Albany new York at the then called Pepsi arena. Was always on my bucket list also. Saw them twice since then at gillete stadium in foxboro massachusetts. Amazing show, amazing band, and amazing fans. What great times I'll never forget.

Brian, this year I’ve had a lot of personal problems, a lot of heartaches, basically life has just been a mess. The only thing that keeps me going is the hope that things will get better. To be honest, the new album and seeing you guys together again has really kept my spirits up. Thank you for such inspiring gift during these tough times. My mum is still a huge AC/DC fan after all these years, she's 76 years old now, I'm also a huge AC/DC fan, I'm 51 years old, AC/DC's music has always been there for me, through all my good times and bad times, all the members of AC/DC both past and present, I consider them my best mates, so I am both happy and proud to stick by them through thick and thin, AC/DC the best Australian band ever, keep on rockin mates!!!!

I love AC/DC. Both Brian Johnson and the late Bon Scott were and are nice, genuine people. Angus, Stevie, Phil and Cliff are too. I’m so glad that they came out with this album. Malcom would be happy and proud 🥲 He would want his band to move on and keep on playing just like Bon Scott would’ve too. Rock on forever guys🎸🤘🏽

Cool thing about Brian is that when he was in the local english band Geordie he did a gig with acdc as an opening act and bon watched him sing and admired his ability, Bon even said that if he died he'd get Brian as a replacement singer. The two even talked to each other and exchanged good whole some compliments.
Brian thanking us for sticking with them through thick and thin. I say the feeling is mutual. Thanks AC/DC for sticking around, to keep the soundtrack to our lives rockin'. Hooyah!
