The Fender American Deluxe Telecaster Electric Guitar has a new compound-radius fretboard for effortless string bending anywhere along the neck. The staggered locking tuners improve tuning stability for stunt guitarists who like to bend behind the nut. New N3 noiseless pickups provide improved Telecaster tones for snappy bell-like chime with no hum. Other features include a bound-top body with belly cut, S-1 switching, chromed brass bridge saddles, bound top and a beveled neck heel.
Fender includes a new molded Fender-exclusive SKB case with glass-reinforced latches and TSA locks, cable, and strap locks with the American Deluxe Telecaster.
Fender N3 Noiseless pickups N3 Noiseless pickups deliver the best of yesterday and today, because they deliver landmark vintage Fender tone and response without the hum that can plague single-coil pickups. Using an improved stacked coil-coil design, N3 Noiseless pickups are specially tailored for each Telecaster pickup position. The insulated metal core of each pickup position type differs in thickness and composition for enhanced tone. Fender has fine-tuned the sized, shape, and wire gauge of the pickup coils to balance the magnetic responsiveness essential to great tone. Fender N3 pickups represent a welcome return to the warmth and clarity of alnico magnets. An Alnico 5 magnet is used in the bridge position, Alnico 2 in the middle position, and Alnico 3 for the neck position.

Its beautiful with the binding. Awesome, I bet you sold a few with this review.
I got one about 9 months ago and it is superb. If you look around you'll see a few noiseless pup haters but honestly, I love their versatile and powerful tones.
Greg Koch uses them, stating that OK there are pickups out there which have the edge on them but they have enough for him and for gigging he depends on their ability to avoid the humming caused by flu' lights etc.
My only gripe is I wanted one in blue, but the aged cherry is pretty.
Oh, and they have a rosewood fretboard option which I went for.
Just do it, as they say!
I have one of these, I really like it very much.
I bought one these a month ago and couldn't be happier with it. I think it is actually more versatile than my Strat or LP.
I have one on order. Can't wait. I am very happy to read your comment. I will be using this guitar as my main workhorse for gigging. Versatility is essential.
hachewie You won't be disappointed. In addition to great clean and dirty tones it is a very comfortable guitar to play. Super sustain and tuning stability are other attributes. I plan to get another telecaster in the future with a humbucker in the neck position.
MH Surgery
I am very excited. Just finished my pedal board. BB preamp, TC flashback and HOF mini are two of the new pedals. Cannot wait.
great review by the way. liked the intro. Tom Petty was a great opening for this guitar
I like those Tom Petty licks!! Good job!
I must have cloth ears as this guitar sounds amazing. So much so, I have just found and bought a 2014 in aged cherry sunburst. Thanks for video.
NICE!!
Love Tom Petty!!! Great playing sounds awesome :-)
seems like fender got rid of its twangy sound from the telecasters lately. Isnt that the whole point of getting a telecaster because it sounded different from the strat? im really wanting a american made tele, but it is making me hard to choose bc i want the original tele sound ehhh any suggestions?
I would love to buy this guitar in rosewood. one day! in about 2 years I will be coming for this guitar
did you get it?
How much is this guitar brand new!
ROCK ON
Where is Mark!!??
David Machuca He is hiding behind the guitar amp...
Who is the reviewer?
coffeewaldo Mr. Shawn Ruch reviewed this guitar for us.
I seriously almost put my fist through my monitor hearing that lick after the 3rd time.
Is this guitar out of tune or its just me beeing fussy?
absolutely :(
It can be my impression, but the tele tones are too subtle. It's a very versatile guitar, of course, but I think it lacks a bit of classic tele tone shaping.
Am i the only one that think this sounds terrible...and the guitar is not in tune..i know its not the guitar, i have one.. so it must be the amp..or recording, these guitars are great...
+RICK J So far, you are the only one... I guess there is a first for everything huh?
+N Stuff Music I think i may have a ear for tone...
+RICK J That certainly appears to be the case in this situation...
+N Stuff Music. As you work your way through the video, it gets much better, those fender clean tones sound pretty nice.I have the 3 tone sunburst with maple neck. quite versatile, i run it through a digitech GSP 1101
+RICK J I agree w/you, doesn't sound like a tele. Its the noiseless pickups.
horrible intonation
Just not good playing.
First thing I puke on is a OUT of Tune guitar.. creep
???
Sorry, but this was disgusting.
