Mark doesn't just play the guitar. He makes love to the guitar.beautiful touch.
Mark has such taste, class and style in his playing. Greetings from England.
This guy is an absolute brilliant guitar player.
Not just brilliant, but subtle and musical, too. Tele players have a tendency to be in your face with technique and forget to play music. Not this guy. Seriously fine playing.
You should tell everyone he's your dad.
I hope Nstuff appreciate just what they have here in this bloke's playing. Masterful.
I wanna cry. This sound, this guitar, this melodies .....
Of all your videos, I think the opening riff was the best I have seen. Mark does some of best gear demos on the web. Great stuff! Love the look and sound of this guitar.
I don't think "Why me Lord" has ever sounded this good! Beautiful rendition
You sir, are one of my favourite guitarists to watch.
Mark is such a tasteful player and underrated demo guy
your a great player, most demo guys aren't anywhere near your skill level man. thanks for this
I just bought this guitar largely because of this video. Wonderful playing by Mark! Never thought I'd like a Tele with an F hole. Surprise!
I have this exact same Tele and I love it. Everything about this guitar is fantastic for my taste! Very nice Demo!
Such a masterful player ... So tasteful ... Don't know when I last heard someone play with such finesse!
I've always been an admirer of the Tele Thinline. Mark makes it sound even better. I have Strats and am looking at the the semi-hollow Tele and this guy just helped me make up my mind. Thanks so much.
The intro and outro are ethereal. Good job.
I've seen a lot of Mark's demos, all great but you can see by his smile and loving look at 1:10 that he's really fallen for this guitar; all throughout this demo he's smiling, looking at the guitar more than the camera and his playing - whilst normally pretty good was simply on fire in this demo! Nice work Mark, and I think I need to try one of these too!!
Fantastic! Both the guitar and your playing Mark!
Tasteful; guitar and player. Excellent job.
I had the misfortune of playing this guitar at my local music shop, beautiful, I fell in love with it just a few licks into my vist and ended up being the only guitar I picked up that day and played it for the last hr they were open
Amazing playing and a beautiful guitar. The series pickup setting sounds so great, new territory for a telecaster
Best equipment demonstrator in the business. Kudos. Bravo.
what a fabulous touch, really takes it to another place
fantastic playing and fantastic guitar
Sweet guitar, sweet playing!
Great to hear the Guitar capabilities instead of the distortion pedal's. Ace.
What a stunning guitar. Love these Telecaster thinline versions
Thanks for playing beautiful music on that beautiful guitar.
What a good player Mark Lucas is!
I keep coming back to this video because I love this guitar - this particular model, US deluxe series no longer made, ash body,,single coils, natural finish with body binding. One day, I will find one!
Boy I love that guitar great playing and review as always!
4:26... the guitar makes him play that lick... Great chops, what a growl !? That’s the most beautiful thing I’ve seen... I’ve played the sea foam green but no binding on that one... What a plank of wood, I want one !
I purchased this exact Tele a year ago and fell in love with it. It is the absolute best guitar I have ever played. I have been playing my American Strat Blackie and an American Strat Deluxe for years and love them both. I can't put this Tele down! Rock on y'all and very nice demo!
nhb1234 Thanks for the props and for checking out our channel!
You are a very good and tasteful guitarist. congrats!
This is a great Tele. Very versatile!
Absolutely marvellous playing as usual mark lucas
I was even singing along! Great songs for a demo!
Beauty. Mark is such a great reviewer.
beautiful playing and guitar.Thumps up
nice guitar! great demo & good playing! You got me interested in one of these
Great playing! Great sounding guitar!!
Amazing tone and great licks. Thanks ....you helped me make my decision.😎🎸
I am liking these hollowbody Telecasters
The intro has a Julian Lage feeling
And also what a tone mate. I am almost convinced I like a thinline tele more than a solid body
great review. I like the "just as I am" added at the outro.
you play so brilliantly
Absolutely beautiful to look at......in the right hands heavenly sounds.
The song at the end is "Why Me?" by Kristofferson.
Wow!
Your practically sold this guitar to me!
Great playing
Great playing and cool guitar!

like your improvisation style
beautiful guitar and a nice playing, dear Mark !.... :)
Nice guitar played well too
just love this guy. Mark is amazing!
I have this exact same guitar as well. It is fantastic!
Great talent mark, I really enjoy hearing you play. I could almost bet you would make a broom handle with one string attached to it sound amazing, lol.
Dammit Mark - everytime I watch a Tele review by you (including the Suhr), I think I have made my mind up only to watch one more and - whoa, maybe I should change my mind - again! Needless to say - I still don't own a Tele. But loving the reviews, Thanks. Mike
This is the only person i pay attention when he demo anything. because he does his job the way it's supposed to be.
Beautiful guitar!!!
everything in that guitar is beautiful.... :)
love how Mark Lucas plays
Why me Lord, sounds really nice. Has real substance.
Excellent, Mark!
Excellent demo...Thank you :)
+Kenny Thompson Thank you for checking out or channel!
Fantastic and highly effective review, more of the same please!
i bought this guitar and it's just beuatiful
Philipp Marx i tried one at the store today, with a fender deluxe reverb, it sounded great, very nicely built
Awesome, this guy is amazing
Super tasteful!
You are verry wel good guitarist.
If Mark Lucas was a sax player, he'd run out of breath playing some of those lines in his head! Man, he can play....
great playing man!
I really dig your renditon of "Why Me Lord."
WONDERFUL!!! My fav Kris song EVER.... Fav "Outlaw Country Gospel Song EVER!!
Listening to you play this lovely guitar has just sold it to me. You are such a nice guy too. Hope it sounds as beautiful through my Fender Deluxe. Where else can we hear your playing?best wishes, Richard.UK
such an amazing angel
m@n you R among the best player alive on this earth
I love your style so much each lick is delightful
Well done!
I've said this before but my guy has the softest touch, as if he were left handed.
That was so GOOD
To my ear, the Thinline because it’s semi hollow, has a deeper richer tone and just resonates better. It’s like having a Gretsch and a Telecaster all in one!
great sound
Good presentation.
This guy could make a wet string sound good!.........class...at last a demo with feeling rather than just fast notes.
That is the shiniest head I've ever seen in my life.
Just got mine. Great Guitar
Hi! Is it noticeably lighter in weight than a normal Tele?
TheJofrica Its the lightest guitar i own. I have the exact model he is playing here...its like Balsa wood! You will love it!
adam taylor Cool, yeah I have a hollowbody jazz guitar that I use due to back problems I was having. These thinlines are really nice. I have a strat but no tele yet. Will likely be my next buy. Thanks! :)
Badass Lucas ;)
It was a Fender Deluxe Reverb and the the Suhr Reloaded Shiba Overdrive pedal.
What mic is used for recording? It sounds really exceptional.
I bought this guitar, It is VERY comfortable and light to play. The knobs seem like they have too much resistance to turn, but that may be to the plastic shrink wrap that remained underneath the knobs when it was new. That problem could serve the purpose of not accidently turning it. I don't like the treble frquencies on my Marshall amp, way to bright and ringy. I shopping for a better amp, and considering different pick ups. Love this guitar though.
Terrific playing!!!!!! This video has planted some doubts in my mind as to which Tele to buy. I was set on a NOS, 62, two tone sunburst Custom Shop limited series but I am wondering whether this Thinline model does have more tonal subtlety...maybe however it lacks the sheer snap and power of a solid body..any opinions?
That's the one dream guitar
sooo coooool!
Aka Bruce Willis, a sweet warm guitar. ........... I like it. Do they make double thick (fatter) of this model? thanks Ed
Great man
That intro was beautiful, can you tell us what amp you were using for this video?
Beautiful guitar, great demo. I wonder who the fifteen downvoters are, and how to avoid them if at all possible...
This is a fantastic demo, awesome job! Definitely curious as to what amp you're using too.
+Ryan Dolecki Probably a Fender DRRI. Not positive, as this was before my time here, but that has been the Stalwart amp for a majority of our videos here...
Are these thinline telecatser lighter weight and slimmer right ?
SICK!
Really great sounds from the Tele, what amp were you using?
very nice, wonder what amp was he using
Beautiful sounding... which amp / pedals have been used for this video ?
