It is interesting to see how Continental versions of similar machines we have here in the UK are programmed. We seem to have less options and slower spin speeds (usually max 500-550 rpm). Prices are similar here. The launderette I use has the IPSO/JLA "15" machines (15 lb's) which do have a high speed spin at the end. The larger "25" machines have a fixed lower spin speed. Costs more in the dryers!

Are those 15 lbs softmounts or hardmounts? Here we mostly have high spin speed softmounts which can go up to 1000 RPM but here some mechanical ipso hardmounts have a 800 rpm final spin, which UK ones don't have. Is that 25lb softmount or hardmount and digital or mechanical?

@@LaundretteEnthusiast The 15lb machines are I think "softmounts" as they have suspension, looks like the final spin is around 1000 rpm. The "22" machines I think are "hardmounts", possibly an older machine which originally would have had a mechanical timer but now converted to electronic controls. Still have a "clunk" before each tumble though! Single spin speed of around 500 rpm. Clothes not dried well...

@@robertball2741Oh yes its the Go4repairs the company that converts old mechanical ones into digital, but they still have mechanical action and click, spin launch etc. Since it spins 500RPM it should be a hardmount

Pourquoi des barres en métal sur les machines à laver et sèche linge ?
