They use the voice function on these so a thunderbolt would not fit the bill They already had the vortexes so Goddard replaced the old controllers and now they work like a charm (other than the prototype position decoder and rotation board)
Chopper level 4 lmao. Also sure pulses much better than any 6M thunderbolt I know of lmfao! Definitely the funniest siren video out there. Amazing video!
Did this vortex replace a thunderbolt and is that why it sounds like a thunderbolt or is it just because the county decided to have it sound like a thunderbolt?
@@NTXstorms no im serious like i know its farmers branch but *where* in farmers branch cause my friends told me the siren thats supposed to sound like a 2t22 from a distance is the one towering over the family dollar store on valwood parkway and the drone shot in this video doesnt seem like it cause i think that siren im thinking of has the tundertex or something programming and i wanna know if this is it
single tone wind up+dual tone 5/6 port steady= B E A U T I F U L
Sweet, that definitely sounds a lot like a Thunderbolt
@OWS Crazy1 the FS VorBolt!
@Karol Matias Sánchez Inda or an XT22, or a Mobil directo
UltraVoices/Siratones can be pitched coded. It's takes longer to code an ultravoice than it does on a siratone though.
Introducing the all new electronic thunderbolt
By far the best vortex I've ever heard or seen on video. Excellent drone shot!
Thank you for recording The alarm for Farmers branch! I live there! These sirens sound pretty amazing and rare!
Now you just have to find the level 4 ones. :)
WOW, that sounds amazing!
When you town can't afford a restored Thunderbolt:
When you put it as “a well-off city buying a 30+ year old used siren” it doesn’t sound good.
@@NTXstorms I Know. I Was Just Trying To Be Funny.
I get that lol, I was returning the favor
@@NTXstorms lol

Funny to see the rotator get confused about which way to go.
@TBB747 I know this lol
Sounded like an Alertronic on that wind down lol
Whoa! its an R4S, the rotator is like a WS series rotator
Sure I get that a lot of people think this sounds like a tbolt, to me it sounds a bit more like a 10/12 port Allertor.
Nice video, sounds like a Thunderbolt 1000T/1003
Chopper level 4 lmao. Also sure pulses much better than any 6M thunderbolt I know of lmfao! Definitely the funniest siren video out there. Amazing video!
Sounds like a smooth Aca alerttor 125 on 10/12 port
This sounds like an old dual toned ACA Alertronic siren.
behold the vortex that dreamed of being a 1000T
whats with the portmanteau? it sounds funny
ok now I know
ALL Whelen Vortex/400X’s should come this way
That's very amazing
Yeah, it sure is!
Great video it’s weird sounding must be rare
It's a Federal Signal controller custom programmed by Goddard.
@@NTXstorms It sounds super cool, I wonder if it would be possible to program these to sound like a 9/12 or 8/12 port siren.
@@Snowcube Most likely, Goddard messes with pitches on most of their installs. Look up Modulators in Baytown and Oklahoma.
@@NTXstorms Well those sirens have MCP controllers so federal signal gave the option to sound like a thunderbolt
They are UltraVoice
It even sounds like it has a blower to me
Idk if its 4/5 port or 10/12 port
wow! I guess that fortworth is the only one doing attack
That sounds more of a dual-tone Allertronic or XT22
Wow sounds like a thunderbolt but what is that thing hanging from the speaker drivers?
Fin
That pole....
where is this siren located
Did this vortex replace a thunderbolt and is that why it sounds like a thunderbolt or is it just because the county decided to have it sound like a thunderbolt?
The installer made it sound like a thunderbolt
@@NTXstorms Oh okay! Interesting! Thanks for the clarification!
What is the fin on the back for?
reminds of me of a B&N mobli Director
It sounds like a t-bolt but on an electric siren
It sounds like a 500 SHTT
Sounds like a 10/12 Allertor
Looks sounds thunderbolt

@@NTXstorms oh ok but what do the numbers mean is it an address or a code? (Thats not a joke either im just clueless)
Copy paste it into google maps
What’s wrong with the sirens rotator, eh?
They are Federal Signal controls on a Whelen product, it’s not designed to be that way but it can be done. So expect some issues.
NTXstorms okay. Other than that, nice video. I like the sound of the Thunderbolt in a Whelen Vortex. Keep it up, man!
FS has never made any oscillating sirens, so the controller gets confused about which way to go, because it can't go 360 or the wire will snap
Moonage Lift and Siren Productions whoa!
@@iangilldjsuperdude It's the way newer whelens are designed
Ngl it sounds like a 2t22
Homemade Eows 612 Whelen Vortex
Haha they mabey using the siren box to sound like a thunderbolt but the whelen is an electric siren
so they replaced the controller with a thunderbolt tone progammed uv or MCP ??
UltraVoice
@@NTXstorms owo nice, so its a ThunderUV (it means it has thunderbolt tones)
Mhm yes
@@NTXstorms have you ever recorded an analog whelen??
