WEICON Zinc Spray bright grade

Zinc Spray „bright grade“ is approved by the German TÜV and provides a longlasting cathodic corrosion protection to all metal surfaces. It has a bright colour shade matched to hot galvanization.
The spray forms a fast-drying, adherent protective layer of microfine zinc flakes. The zinc flakes form a resistant protective layer, even under extreme weather and environmental conditions.
Zinc Spray „bright grade“ can be used for the coating of welded joints and drilled holes, as a conductive intermediate layer for spot welding and everywhere where metal must be protected against corrosion.

If I am going to weld metal parts on car body, should I paint details before or after welding?

for welding we recommend our ceramic anti-spatter spray (bit.ly/41X55Nd) and anti-spatter spray (bit.ly/3Vo8rXa). The zinc spray bright grade (bit.ly/3ANSi3K), on the other hand, serves as corrosion protection for metal surfaces.

Will this spray protect against gasoline? Like if I was to spray a fuel cap for an atv. and can parts be dipped in chromate after they are sprayed with WEICON Zinc Spray? Thanks.

Hi Livin' The Dream, I'm sorry, but WEICON Zinc Spray is not permanently resistant to gasoline.

Hi@@Spikev01 , you don't need a topcoat finish, because the zinc spray is an active corrosion protection. For optical purposes, you can paint over the surface. Before using, please try it out in a small area, as it can interact.
