The four was awesome. Fit was a little weird for me at first but these 4 flowtros look awesome. A worthy upgrade. Would love to see 1,3 and 5 get flowtros upgrades.

The Curry 4 low is one of my all time favorite shoes. I know there was no cushion, but that set up was one of my favorites. It's hard to decide if I like the flow on these, but I'll still have to get them

Yeah the Lows were my go to. I didn't like the normal 4s. I'm torn on the Flotro 4s. Still gonna grab probably
I really loved the traction from the Curry 4, i know cushion was nonexistent but it didn’t really ruin the performance for me. Love the 8s but tbh sometimes the traction works sometimes it doesn’t.
Steph said him self in an interview with Draymond that his favorite signature shoe is the Curry 4. I guess that’s why they upgraded them.
I still have my curry 4 for 5 years now, and I use it everytime I ball. It's my most favorite in the lineup of curry's.

These look awesome up close- The flow foam seems to gel better with that kind of upper setup vs the 9's - great to see them get reviewed 👍👍

I just want another 2 pairs of the OG Clutchfit Drive. That Micro G and heel to toe transition was amazing, the flexible but secure upper, and great traction were A1.
Curry signature shoes always look so-so to me, except this one. I think it's the first one that looks great and keeps the distinctive Curry high hi-tops style. I especially like the grey white colorways.
Funny thing is the Curry line right at the 2s is what got me interested in understanding more about tech specs in shoes. In essence it was how I discovered Weartesters, I didn't even know there was a such thing as a shoe review(I suppose it really wasn't till you started it✊🏾. Peace to the pioneer!) I had so much knee pain after wearing the 2s although I loved them it made me do research then 💥. Ah hah! . The same thing happened with me and the 4s.. loved them just not enough cushioning to not have pain. This flow stuff works for me as I love the 9s.. so if they are going back and retooling.. we might have some bangers...Great vid.. Always the dopest shoe content period

When the originals released these were shoes that made kids who played for Nike "sponsored" teams a little envious. Best looking Curry meets best performing Curry = WIN!! Proud of what UA and Curry are doing right now
what they need to bring back is the Curry 2s, that's the prettiest Currys so far, especially the Iron Sharpens Iron colorway

I’m loving that they are bringing out retros so soon for players in lebrons case all the super limited pes that I never had the slightest chance at copping having been so easy to grab, cool to see them making upgrades to them too.. would like to see them bring back some Melos with some upgrades tooling

Definitely want to try these out. The original 4s was a little too minimal cushion for me so definitely excited for these. Also I seen the curry low 1 flowtro picture, I'm anticipating those as well. I'm hoping they would release those Curry 1 flowtro in the party confetti birthday colorway

Great to see they changed the materials that caused chaffing. Those were a pain to deal with until they were broken in.
It’s also a nice touch that they added a pull tab at the “tongue” area.
I still have my 4’s. If I get a chance to play hoops again, that’s the pair that I’m grabbing. 😊

I'm hoping Jordan Brand shares your opinion on retroing current player's signatures because I would really love if some of the old Melo shoes came back when he retires. I think in this UA/Curry case it makes sense because they're upgrading with new tech for his new brand but the Curry 1 retros are a bit odd and unnecessary to me.

This is everything I needed from the curry 4!!! That fit was so perfect but the cushion sucked for me. I always wondered how amazing it would be to have a softer cushion. I’ve dreamed of this since like 2017-2018 when these came out and I was working at Dick’s. Thanks to under armour for this and shoutout to weartesters for the vid
It's nice to see ua make a ball shoe that is somewhat anatomically correct in the toe box. 99 percent of shoes these days are way too narrow, causing the big toe to squish together and not allow natural toe splay. Hopefully, ua will continue to widen its toe box with its future models.
Curry 2.5' are my fav. Taxi Yellows, Zebras, and the all black & blue.
I still play in Curry 4's, absolutely love the feel but have always wanted a bit more cushion. These seem to be it!

I really hope if the release other flowtro shoes they make the flow sole like the actual shoes. I think they look a bit weird with the curry 8 sole and it makes them look like a sole swap rather than a remake
I like your breakdown of the shoes, you go into a lot of detail however still keep it relatable for the average person. I would definitely like to have a revamped Curry 5, which is my favourite one! The tech is practically non - existent, but I really like the overall design and the fit. I only played in these a couple of times because of the absence of any compression, but I wear them casually! 😎
I loved the design and fit, the cushion wasn’t there because curry didn’t like cushion at the time. But imagine a curry 5 with flow or hovr, I’d buy it in a heartbeat

@@methoddable glad to see someone else agrees. I feel like the curry 5 and it’s lack of support is what made people hate that shoe but it performed so well, I just bought some athletic insoles with some extra support and threw them in the curry 5’s and it solved the problem easily.

Love that steph had been retroing his shoes. I lowkey wanna get the Curry 1 since I grew up just wanting them but never could get them because of price and availability.
As far as what show I would love revamped, I would hands down go with the Curry 5. Just an amazing looking shoe but a flop since I remembered people's foot were getting cut in those.

Curry 4 lows are my faves. I'd buy a low version of these easy.
They did the right shoe cause I liked the look and feel of the upper but the lack of cushion was a major downer

I love the feel of the Curry's; unfortunately they destroy my knees with my playing style. I'm 180lbs and run about 6 miles per game. I am always moving. All that pounding on the knees + the lack of cushion is too much for my joints. If they added more cushion they would be the perfect shoes.

The last for Curry 8 and 9 just too wide at the front, that square toe box really get my feet drifting all over the place, If 4 Flowtro equipped with the original last, that would be amazing upgrade from the 4. Just not a big fan of 8 and 9's fitting!

I think they should hurry tf up and release them in the US. I missed out on the curry 9s and I don't think I'll be getting them anytime soon but I love the curry 4, I wore mine till they ripped. So I wish they would release them soon. Also think they should flotro the curry 6 eventually, I loved those a lot but they got to a point where I couldn't wear them bc they got too lose. And a shoe they shouldn't ever flotro is the curry 7, I think they are perfect, they might not look the best but they feel the best out of any shoe I've ever worn

only have a chance to play in the 2 models which is the 2s and 4s. The 2s was amazing but I wasn't knowledgeable enough to know what is my tts, whereas the 4s had one of the best traction and court-feel even though its a knees' killing shoes for me. Still, I can't wait to get my hand on the flowtro! Only if the retailer in Thailand will actually sells them.😄

The bigger shank plate in the curry 9 somewhat killed the cushion. It's pretty much dead and lost the elasticity it had in the Curry 8 so it's kind of good that they kept the smaller plate.
Problem is the the midsole ripping thing which happed to my 8s as well .
It seems the flow style cushion is a trade-off between structural integrity and elasticity. I hope they will find ways to refine it

Ok now it makes sense. I was looking like "those look like 4s but I see the flow bottoms so maybe the new ones just look s lot more like 4s than I realized" 😂
I think these came out because of the injury that curry sustained in his ankles vs the celtics, and they didn't have enough time to make a whole new shoe from scratch so they went back and redid one of the more ankle supportive shoes for the finals and playoffs
This shoe has been in development for over a year.

it takes longer to make a shoe then that, it needs to be tested for a long time before any of their beloved athletes wear them on tv... theres a lot of r&d and testing before they get any media coverage.
