Taking the exam in two days. This will be my 4th time. I finally got the math questions right!! I am really hoping and praying that I pass. I have put the work in. I have dissected a lot of your videos and have contracted 20 pages so far of solid notes. Including all of the math videos. Thank you! In my pre- licensing classe's the math was not taught the way you teach. I also love when you give text to world connections with examples. I am a visual learner so giving examples I can picture in my head helps grasp the information.

Confused about question #2. The mortgagor is the owner and the motegagee is the lender. I picked C. The explanation at the bottom says the hiring aspect is almost always done by the lender or mortgagor. Yet, the two terms are not the same meaning. Please clarify. Thank you!

I will be honest with you, I had a severe cold and I threw my back out the day before I took my test so I had a lot of trouble sitting still and focusing on the exam lol. I do know there were some questions that were identical to these. You've got this, you will do great!

Our exam questions are based on ALL concepts you need to know for the real estate exam. So within it, there are basic questions, basic concepts, advanced questions, and advanced topics. The basic questions and topics should be relatively easy to understand. With that being said, we have a large pool of questions that we take from to generate each exam. So each time the exam is different. So theoretically, doing the first 50 could be easier then the next. See what I mean? I'd suggest taking one of the exams yourself, on our site, and then see how well you do. Like I said it varies every time so you may get an 85% one time, but maybe 50% the other time. Hope that helps!

Another question: on #95, the "title theory/lien theory" question, doesn't the borrower hold title in lien-theory states and the mortgagee holds a lien that is removed once loan is paid off? Seems like that would be the best answer here, over #3.
These are great videos! I just took my Indiana test and failed. Its hard when the tests says there can be multiple correct answers...but chose the best one. Ill be taking it again in a week, does anyone know if the test questions are the same or do they change them up every time you take the test?

Question #2: I’m confused. You said the lender usually orders the appraisal then you said the correct answer is the Mortgagor (borrower) orders the appraisal?
I question the answer to #1 because its the lender/morgagee who HIRES the appraiser, not the buyer/borrower/mortgagor. So why wouldn't the answer be (C) lender? If the question asked who PAYS for the appraisal, the answer would then be (D) mortgagor, as it's typically paid by the buyer in my experience as a RE agent in CA. Also, you said in your explanation that the lender is the mortgagor which is incorrect. Its the borrower who is the mortgagor and the lender who is the mortgagee, the one who holds the mortgage.
I don’t understand why in this video the second question explains that the lender is the mortgagor but in the first video at about the 10 min mark the question states that the lender is the mortgagee. Why is there an inconsistency? Or am I missing something?
Good catch. Its a tricky question. Its asking to make the statement factually accurate. Technically A, could be accurate but doesn't provide enough information. Its one of those choose the best answer questions which sometimes are subjective. Regardless, i'll take a note and edit the question next time around. Thanks for the comment and feedback!

Hold on a second, on question 5 of part 1/2 the lender was described as the mortgagee. Now, on question 52 the lender is described as the mortgagor. So which is it? I’m confused.

Regarding question #52, What would happen if you selected option C (lender)?
You would be correct because D is wrong, the mortgagor is the borrower (buyer), it should of said mortgagee (lender)

I question the answer to #1 because its the lender/morgagee who HIRES the appraiser, not the buyer/borrower/mortgagor. So why wouldn't the answer be (C) lender? If the question asked who PAYS for the appraisal, the answer would then be (D) mortgagor, as it's typically paid by the buyer in my experience as a RE agent in CA. Also, you said in your explanation that the lender is the mortgagor which is incorrect. Its the borrower who is the mortgagor and the lender who is the mortgagee, the one who holds the mortgage.

I don’t understand why in this video the second question explains that the lender is the mortgagor but in the first video at about the 10 min mark the question states that the lender is the mortgagee. Why is there an inconsistency? Or am I missing something?

Good catch. Its a tricky question. Its asking to make the statement factually accurate. Technically A, could be accurate but doesn't provide enough information. Its one of those choose the best answer questions which sometimes are subjective. Regardless, i'll take a note and edit the question next time around. Thanks for the comment and feedback!

Hold on a second, on question 5 of part 1/2 the lender was described as the mortgagee. Now, on question 52 the lender is described as the mortgagor. So which is it? I’m confused.
