Here’s my tips. 1. Have an iPhone 2. Add the Suica card to your Apple Wallet. Charge it with 4000 Yen 3. Buy a 7-30 day Airalo travel eSIM (can be done entirely in the App) 4. Download the map of Tokyo/wherever before you land 5. Watch a video “Top 50 Japanese Phrases” like 3 times. 6. Know Please, Excuse Me, Thank You, Yes, I’m alright, and “one moment please” 7. Try and stay up till at least 9PM your first night to help combat jet lag 8. Download Google translate and download the Japanese and English language. Practice with it a bit. You do these things.. you’ll be totally fine. At least I was
suica is a very helpful but actually once you get hang of how transportation tickets work you can do just with the cash. But from my experience I will strongly recommend to check it BEFORE flight.
This reminds me of one of the first times leaving the country. Now, no matter where I go, I feel much more prepared. I feel like I can get to know my surroundings and where i need to go and how to get there much easier than the yearrs past when I first started.

Was just in tokyo last week, Here are a few tips to make your vacation more enjoyable: 1. Internet. Have a roaming data plan or get a wifi sim card. Google maps will be your best friend in using the trains. Wasting so much time on being lost is not ideal. 2. Get a PASMO card (train card) These can be easily obtained in train stations so long as you have your passport with you (always bring your passport with you) 3. Research good eats in google maps and in youtube. A lot of tourist trap restaurants serving expensive food with mid quality. Better get to know those hidden gems and those to avoid. 4. Always ask if something is tax free when buying things like souvenirs, etc. Most cashiers wont ask for your passport and just check out what you bought. Save yourself some money. 5. Learn the language. This saves you a lot of trouble. If youre vegan or experiencing some health problems, youll be able ask restaurant staff to modify your food however this isnt the case for all restaurants.
I miss Japan 😢 I miss the general vibe on the streets. People don’t judge, they mind their own business, everyone expresses themselves how they want ❤ they have amazing fashion style ❤ it’s a once in a thousand year achievement
@@Japangen but the level of respect they show is amazing - people don't break rules out there like they do in other places - and the architecture of the streets - every turn is so beautiful
Excellent, first stop-- love hotel 💀 Second stop, ki master. Third, can sight seeing. Fourth, le wild anime villain has appeared. You realize everyone in japan is a little girl or monster 😂
Chile is known to rich country in South America, even though Is there and Japan different? Next time I recommend to visit Taiwan and South Korea. Both country is as fun as Japan, please feel difference and enjoy common culture. Oi don't you forget explain about Japanese rule and etiquette? It's bloody important things protect you in Japan.

Everything is pretty on point except the anime stuff. Its just a real shame that anime is so associated with Japan.

Place, Japan: 🤩
Imagine being privileged enough to go to Japan only to stay at a hostel. You have got to be kidding me.
Some people have to travel on a budget, nothing wrong with that. Also hostels are great for meeting new people.
