4:00 it was lethal by targeting tenth district legionnaire with loran's escape (1 more damage from its ability putting a +1/+1 counter on it, and 1 more damage from the prowess trigger of soul-scar mage, so exact lethal)
Smart move. It drives the algorithm with 0 extra effort. It's never been about an unwillingness or inability to pronounce words properly, always been about boosting the brand. Props
It’s been a long while since an MTG video popped up on my feed. And the Feather deck happens to be my FAVORITE deck. Thank you for the fun content. You’ve got yourself another subscriber!
Hey Crim I hope you see this I actually made a feather deck that uses bounces and that merfolk from the ravneka set that counter spells when it etbs and I just constantly blink it to counter every single spell my opponent plays😂
I still play Feather Heroic both in Explorer and in Pioneer in paper. Most Heroic decks I've seen have really cut the deck down to be fast and explosive as possible. Which, honestly, means most decks just keep Feather in the sideboard. But its why I play the deck, so I keep at least 3 mainboard. But I still try to keep it fast and explosive, which is why I run Monastery Swiftspears and Illuminator Virtuosos instead of soul-scar mage and Tenth District Legionnaire. Similarly Angelfire Impulse and Valorous Stance are just too slow. Like you say, you really want your instants and sorceries to all be 1 mana so you get as many triggers on the Favoured Hoplites and Legionaries/Virtuosos as you can. Similarly, having the full 8 of Defiant Strikes and Ancestral Anger allow you to rip through the deck quickly in search of more gas, esp with Virtuoso.
I think this deck definitely needs Reckless Charge if we're in Historic. 1 mana +3 attack and haste with built in recursion in fantastic for any heroic style deck. It also helps justify this as a historic deck since otherwise only the one of Fists of Flame and Giver of Runes are historic legal, which can be replaced with a second Invigorated Rampage and Skrelv respectively.
This time no bm, good manners. Keep it up! First time I could like a video with you in it. Well, the Karn-Surf, eh, you did not spam, so okydoky. Also: Very interesting deck. Stay crunchy.
If you want to get cheeky with it, make the deck Naya by adding in Season of Growth for some ridiculous card draw as well as the use of spells like Dromoka's Command. I run a version of this deck with Zada Hedron Grinder and Mirrorwing Dragon paired with a Venerated Rotpriest. Makes for an easy win against pesky lifegain decks!
Splashing green for a win-more card is a crime. Putting in Virtuoso over the Legionaires and having the full 8 1 mana cantrip/pump spells is plenty enough card draw to win. Taking a turn off to play a 2 mana enchantment that does nothing the turn you play it in an Aggro deck that has a win pct that drops dramatically each turn after turn 4 is not a great strategy.
Oof, that Grixis control deck basically highlighted how soft the historic Bo1 ranked meta is. That deck was *not* competitively tuned. But you can get away with that stuff in historic Bo1 (which makes it great as a mostly casual player). After all, I've encountered players playing very-close-to-precon versions of monowhite lifegain at mythic.
Ugh, I hate how Arena just skips points you'd have priority in if you don't explicity put a stop in place (in this case, in your opponent's second main). I've had something similar happen recently, where I intended to remove an opponents Teleportation Circle before they could blink one of their creatures with it, but MTGA skipped right on to their end step without giving me a chance to take action. But I mean, Wizards is a poor, indie company, right? >.>
@@kkounal974It's annoying that you have to put on full control for basic stuff though. I would think that not passing steps and phases when you have a chance to respond is basic, but apparently the devs disagree. 🙃

Crim is learning from Seth on how to mispronounce words.
I sure hope not. Hopefully, Crim knows to pronounce "Abuelo."

The manabase for that sounds like a headache with RWW and GGUU costs in the same deck.
@MrNukealizer hey I mean u have mana confluence and the triomes
as a person who owns a feather deck irl i immediately clicked liked and commented
extremely happy
Nothing more satisfying by making a game ending play after the opponent says ‘good game’ thinking they won
I love featherrr, still have that deck laying around on paper
I did not realize how crazy Feather the Redeemed was. If I were to be honest, the Boros legendary I am intrigued by is Akiri, Fearless Voyager.
One of the few aggro combo cards I liked before I played aggro neat!!!
I still play Feather Heroic both in Explorer and in Pioneer in paper.

Got to love shocking in that land game 1 then not using its mana that turn.
adding Zada to that deck might help it a bit, since you use a lot of instant/sorc to buff
War of the Spark was from 2019, Crim, in 2015 we were in Tarkir
Love me some feather :D

No Illuminator Virtuoso? Wins most of my Feather games ^.^
Is there a reason you're playing soul scat mage over monastery swiftspear? I didn't see you playing any burn spells in the deck
Scat ; D
Crim you should play Can Lander with Wheeler it would be fun hehe

I'm a simple man. I see Feather, and i watch, like and comment.
Mirrorwing Dragon could be cool in this deck.
Yes feather rises.

Hello
HOLY SHIT ITS MICHAEL SUPERBACKER
Hello
CRIM PLAYING HISTORIC :D
I think Mavinda would be a pretty good fit for this deck
i love boros and angels
OK Crim, gotta ask. Danzig or Graves? I think we all know there is a right answer here.
Bo1 Feather deck missing Illuminator Virtuoso? Blasphemy
Giver of ruins, the “better” Skrelv
The fact you didn't include season of growth in this deck,
Is a crime.

I hope you redeem this deck's reputation
Used to hate Feather but there are so many more annoying decks these days that I can no longer be mad if I saw someone playing it

I mean full control mode exists

"Really old deck" C'mon it hasn't been that long, it's only been _googles WAR release date_ four...and a half...years...
I could've sworn it hadn't been more than 4 and a half months since WAR was released
Sure you get this all the time but your tattoos are sick 5 stars
Feather who?? 😅
First?
Nope, and even if you were nobody would care.
@@aidan_savage Seems like you care when you shouldnt.
I am a simple man. I see Feather, I click ❤ 🤍
