I think one of the best ways to share your landscape shots on IG is to cut into two parts of a carousel post. Lets you share the image large still and forces the user to scroll increasing activity on the post 🔥
welp....time to make a third Instagram account to separate my artsy/film/street stuff from my sports/photojournalism stuff from my personal life stuff 😂 definitely want editors to see a consistent look and mine's a bit scatterbrained at the moment thanks for the tips, Billie!
It's kind of crazy how deep into the app we can get. I've thought about making a personal life gram too...just can't decide if it's a good idea or unhealthy to be on the app too much😂
great video.... quick question. in the bit about carousels ... you show a post of yours where you have a series of still images and as you swipe you have a video... how do you input the video with the image overlapping? is that done in photoshop then sliced?
Hi Tommy, thanks for watching! Yes, great question. This is actually made in Adobe Premiere Pro. So basically I started a video timeline with the still image as the background, then overlayed the video clip on top of that and sized it smaller so you can still see the background. Then exported that to the same dimensions as the square so it would work on IG. Let me know if that helps!
How amazing are the other photographers profiles I showed in this video?!
Yeh! Brilliant, in that I had to stop and ponder how they did a few things. Like The Citadel composite. He was trying something new and it worked.
@@terrybowers4192 Yes, absolutely!

I do absolutely love that look. Maximizing that screen time!
Hadn't thought of a lot of these things! Thanks Billie!
Welcome!
Great tips, Billie! Thanks for putting this together!
Thanks Mike!
Some great tips there Billie which I will take into account next time I post an image. Superb channel with great content.
