That’s strange about the quality you received. I ordered a TON of stuff from them when it was Black Friday and was insanely impressed - I found it way more buttery than lulu and way better quality overall to be honest. I also have 2 of their long sleeved shirts, hoodies, and sweatpants and have washed them countless times and they still feel and look brand new and are on par with higher end loungewear. I actually feel they undercharge quality wise. I do agree with the ridiculous shipping/return policy and the fact that they’re constantly out of stock. It’s made me give up on them as a brand even though I love their products.
I think it just comes down to personal preference and expectations! I guess "buttery" isn't an objective term but I take it to mean the really soft, almost suede/cotton-y feeling when you run you hand over lulu aligns (+elite eleven leggings, some CSB leggings). These items were distinctly more plastic-y in feeling than aligns and the loose strings, off sizing with the top, and pancake circle stiff padding that I've gotten in other tops from AliExpress just gave me the feeling that I over paid for what I got. I felt like the packaging, tags, and marketing for the brand were high-end but the product itself wasn't. But I'm glad you enjoyed your stuff and were happy with your order! They are very trendy so hopefully there's more/better things to come--also in terms of restocking and policies.

Yeah I wish they would invest as much in the quality as they do the branding. Great concept, poor execution imo
