Was really hoping for a Boston 9 replacement, I know the uppers are different, the B9 has lesser material but do these feel similar ride/firmness? I still have a Clifton8, Invincible and Invincible 3 for my cushy rides. Not really sure this would be the same on tempo runs based on your reviews but just looking for the same feel.
I just ordered it as needed something that I can I walk around in and also do some long run walks in. I am getting back into running and this seems like exactly what I need. Too much cushion and rods don't allow your feet, ankle and lower legs to get stronger so this can be a very good shoe for that purpose.
@@Ryanbros I liked these initially but the shoes have a huge design flaw that has now given me an injury. I should have known this because I had a similar problem in Adios Pro 2; It is giving me pain on the outside of my heel around achilles insertion to the heel bone, If you look at the heel base you will see that it is not even on both sides. I don't know why Adidas does that, its a completely stupid design decision. I suspect the same issues in SL2. I have never had this issue in any of the Hoka shoes and I have run a lot of mileage in Cliftons and Speedgoats. I love the Lightstrike and dreamstrike foam but wish the shoes had more supportive and conventional heel design.
@@OdanUrr87 IDK if it's available where you live, but now they also sell another daily trainer called Duramo Speed, which is almost a one-to-one copy of SL, even with lightstrike too, for $40 less
@ItsGBZ imagine thinking that this show is for helping people and not creating hype for runners to buy running shoes. That was a good one though I laughed quite hard at that one.
@@kevinclark5086 they're the same price sure but the foam stack/rocker on the supernova make them very different feeling shoes. Having tried them at the gym the supernova rise is too much of a stack to be a gym shoe and feels too much of a focused running shoe for that purpose

How are you liking it?

I swear Kieran keeps trolling us non-Brits with his “regular running shoe size which is a UK and a half…”😂
I don't see the point of this shoe because the Adizero SL 2 is coming with a full length Lightstrike Pro layer on top of Lightstrike 2.0 for US$130.
Yeah, I don't get where this shoe sits within the Adizero line-up with the SL (and Boston 12) as the daily trainer.
I don’t see the point to people questioning why more shoe options for millions of differently shaped feet and preferences is such a head scratcher
@@BizzeB-nq1jb Just wondering from the company's perspective if they have multiple shoes cannibalizing each other's market.
Amen, been wondering the same and thats exactly the reason why im not too excited about this shoe

Unfortunately the toebox is too narrow.
277g for uk8.5 is too heavy. needs to go under 250g.
We all know this is a gym/treadmill shoe to rival the pegasus. Theres more focussed running shoes for runners. Lets tell it like it is.
having worn both i find them quite different
@@Jusvidz I never said they were the same. I said to rival the pegasus and that there are better running shoes for runners.
Imagine negating a show that working for people just because you're a simp for running shoe hype and capitalism
