Hi Joshua, I am excited about the future of these AR glasses but I am worried about eye health. It is already bad to sit very close to books or displays, but AR glasses are much closer to our eyes. Is this an issue or do the lenses used in these glasses focus light such that our eyes are focused at a further distance?
The "sitting close to the TV" was for cathode ray tube TV, not for current technology. CRTV worked using rays making image on the screen which has some radiation"spill over". Reading book and watching TV causes eye strain due to eye focusing at a same distance, just look somewhere else when feeling discomfort. Should not harm your vision.
on the productivity side, are there any "multi screen" capabilities with these? ie. if i wanted to have a 2 or 3 monitor set up in my AR space when plugged into a laptop. or will it only mirror the display?
Do you need the joydoc to use the glasses with the switch? If I’m on a plane, the last thing I want to lug around is yet another battery to may my switch even heavier.
Can the new Switch accessory be used on my phone so the phone battery isn’t depleted while using the glasses? I have the Galaxy S23 phone and hoping to not need both accessories. Thanks.
I grabbed one on Black Friday for 200 and I'm going to get it soon but I realized that you have to get a goovis HDMI adapter to hook it up to your ps5. So that's the next purchase.
I wanted to hear some cons because I know that there are cons to virtually every tech product in the world. This video sounded excellent, too much like a "sponsored" video. 😅
Is this compatible with Xbox? Also, is there a way to hook this up to my PC through Bluetooth? Maybe through a controller or something? I'd love to sit on my couch and play PC games rather than use my standing desk.
My dream of wirelessly binge watching videos anywhere and everywhere hands free is ALMOST here. It doesn't support video playback...yet, so perhaps it could come in an update OR hopefully a RayNeo X3 will have that killer feature.
No, that was pure VR by using the phone. And btw, it came with the S6 or S7 line and the remote version was added later and remote could be bought seperate
Nice review. I'm all about AR not XR so I'll skip these glasses as it's just not my use case. Looking forward to the Meta glasses to add a HUD to their classes in the future and then I'll be all set.
good review but , but NOTHING like Xreal 2 pro , I would rather pay more for quality, than pay cheap and its broken months later haha. and they are ugly
Do you know that these glasses have many limitations, can't watch any streaming service frm your phone or computer, have to download, add to plex then watch. It's not compatible with some phones too. Plus it sucks up alot of your battery life. The only thing it's got going is the Sony Display. Most reviews are just praising these glasses, not telling the tedious process you have to go thru just to watch a movie. NO THANKS
They never hid that they are only compatible with usb-C display ports. They have a separate HDMI to Usb-C adapter as well for the older things. Tedious to use something you were already using. Who pays for streaming services anymore lol. I use a different program but all the same they work great. You are complaining about nothing they hid. Lol The only false information they have is they are sold as AR/XR but are neither.
These Ray Charles glasses are really fit for purpose. They did well to cover all connectivity bottlenecks with other devices.
Added to my cart as a Christmas present. Cool product.
Life gets easier, great product.
Can you use earphones with the glasses ? or does it disconnect the earphones when you plug the glasses in ?
That is what I'm interested in! Good looking out, Josh
Best impulse purchase of my life.☝️
Is it actually 201 inch screen on every format? X real claimed something similar about the screen size but was only maximised on the X real app
Compatible with Netflix? I'm seeing another reviewer say they're not.

can you have multiple virtual monitors for work? on a macbook pro? what resolution does it has for each screen?
looking for the same question
Can you read easily long texts on those glasses or are normal 8 to10 px fonts hard to read?
How are they for writing code?

Nice Ray Neo Air review.

Sooner or later, these glasses would be everywhere and probably could be bought cheap or as an everyday product
They will become stream lined but will be better in 10 years. Like how the Google vision is a pair of snorkel glasses lol.
Are these glasses on sale only in some countries or worldwide?
Do you need the joydoc to use the glasses with the switch? If I’m on a plane, the last thing I want to lug around is yet another battery to may my switch even heavier.
Is this compatible for DJI RC drone?
I bought the and the don't work with my integra goggles.
I need one of those for sure!
Good reviews and it looks great.
I hav heard that real user Experience is more like a 45 to 50 inches and not 200inchc display as they say in their marketing. Any thoughts

What is app where you can controll glasses
Windows connectivity? Multiple screens? Head vs body anchoring?

Is there a set of nose pads that doesnt make them sit that distance away from your face
Does it support 3 degree freedom?
I found heat is a problem with these eyeglasses, such as Rioair

Woo, stylish that you could wear them out of your room.
My dream of wirelessly binge watching videos anywhere and everywhere hands free is ALMOST here.

Have a great holiday
Samsung had already created something like this with their Oculus VR Adapters for the S8/S9 and Bluetooth remotes except this is now standalone.
No, that was pure VR by using the phone.
