And after years of building super teams to try and take back their dominance in the LCS, TL win with a "normal" roster. What a series from Yeon and APA, btw
TL won with a korean reject roster and FQ went in Finals with 3 ex-retired EU pros. That says a lot about NA level and super teams focus. Anyway now that VC are all gone, there is no super teams possible

@@MaschMa Every single year some bronze idiots said that, from S2 to now, every single year is "this is the year".
NA has never been decent or even above mediocre, their best result is S4 with 2 teams passing groups and thats was because of players of other region getting banned and only 3 KR/CN teams invited.
NA didnt win a single game at MSI main stage and their teams are even weaker this year.

Aww, I'm sad for flyquest, only 2nd place again for the org, but I'm happy for steve and apa, who is the most flamed player in LCS since he entered the league, and he paid steve back bigtime today.
who is the most flamed player in LCS " wrong, there were far more flame towards other pros like the famous Tommy, Jiuzuke/Balls last split, or EIKA french academy EU mid who received death threats from fans.
In fact, LCS was forced to take actions against the hate and death threats towards Eika.

I was thinking the same, from MSG to a small studio of maybe 200-300 people? Also i checked the livestream and it was 35k on YT..the glory days are really behind the LCS
LCS finals didnt even reach 100K in twitch, barely 55k on twitch and 40k on youtube. In S4, LCS finals had 300k viewers... Money left and thus big org like TSM/CLG also, there are also insider rumors about TL and C9 wanted to leave
there’s minimal to no money made in esports for most orgs. this is just reality lol but esports is only gonna keep going downhill from here 😕

No, don't do that bs. He has improved, but you forget that he made plenty of errors last year, and looked really suspect until playoffs this split. Or are you going to ignore all the awful positioning in teamfights throughout the split?

Like the last few years have just been filled with veterans and imports. So I always felt like the hate was undeserved

Jeson and inspired were formally EU residents.
Biwpo is still EU import slot.
TL has 3 KR player 2 naturalised NA.
CoreJJ and Impact are now NA residents.
Umti is still KR.

Most American-born citizens have heritage from other continents. Most of the players are going to be mixed Asian or European, etc. Only "true" Americans as I've said would be native Indians. Because even the current NA players have some sort of ties to other regions like Blaber for example who's born in America, but his background is Korean.

Impact, corejj, umpti, bwipo, inspired and jenson were bought from other region.
Infact I think only IMPACT is a naturalised citizen.
All of them outside of impact still citizen of their home country but applied for NA residences as NA players.
