Does it actually smell like Profondo ?
This is a great daily fragrance for the summer. I bought it for about 17 euros a few months back and i've been using it a lot at university and just casual going out situations, like for shopping groceries at daytime, going for a cup of coffee with a friend or even the gym. It's pretty mellow and unfortunately doesn't really last long, at least on me, but i've gotten some positive comments whenever someone approaches me, it's a very pleasant lemony-fresh with a little bit of muskiness type of scent that is pleasing to most noses. Definitely worth a blind buy.

@@vipan1231 Hey man. So it's been a while with this fragrance, my bottle is almost empty. Now, what you're talking about is propably a different type of aquatic than Tres Nuit Lyric. I would recommend you check out the Dolce Gabbana Light Blue line (original, eau intense, italian zest etc.). Whenever i tried them they had that fresh aquatic breeze you're talking about. Tres Nuit Lyric is more or less based on the Profondo DNA (doesn't smell anything like Profondo). Tres Nuit has musk and citrus notes, not really fresh ones.

It’s hard that to say if it last long because your nose could go nose blind. I have CDN untold and I stop smelling it after 5 hours but in 12+ hours I still get compliments
Glad you're reviewing this one. I've had it for a while and haven't even opened the box yet. They sell for $50 here in Japan so I was considering selling it. Maybe I'll keep this one...

I HATE their bottle design and it is mind-blowing that before they made perfumes they were an bottle-making company for other perfume brands.

Tres bond is nothing like tres nuit (and I wouldn’t recommend using tres bond in temps over 30 lol) i’ve been eyeing tres lyric for a bit, thinking i might throw this in next time
I already have ADG Profondo since I took advantage of the 30% off that you gave us here a while back. When I run out, if I want to cheap out I'd rather buy AZZARO CHROME EXTREME since I feel Armaf are lower quality fragrances. To me AZZARO is in par with BVLGARI, Giorgio Armani, VERSACE, Salvatore Ferregamo, etc.

As frag houses who knows the process of cloning and specializes in cloning, Armaf , Lattafa, Fragrance World, Afnan, Rasasi are way superior to Azzaro!.
@@zarlodious1 You don't even see ARMAF fragrances in Dillard's, ULTA, SEPHORA, Macy's, & Belks... However, you do see AZZARO fragrances at those department stores.... And ARMAF is superior? Please... The ones that sell ARMAF fragrances are the Hindu guys that work at small kiosks inside indoor malls.
@@ipaporod In terms of how the fragrance is constructed you're absolutely right! Middle Eastern houses tend to design their fragrances with heavier base notes giving them a longer lasting foundation, however, I'd argue that French & Italian fragrance houses rely on higher quality ingredients. The perfumer Aaron Terrence Hughes talked about that once in one of his videos... The Middle Eastern fragrance houses that do use higher quality ingredients are the niche ones such as: INITIO, AMOUAGE, XERJOFF, NISHANE, etc... Al Haramain, Lataffa, AFNAN, AJMAL, ARMAF, RASASI, etc are not in par with the niche Middle Eastern houses that I mentioned in terms of uniqueness & quality.
Tres Nuit also have some similarity with Profondo…

I own this and Azzaro Chrome Extreme, and between owning these two, I don't feel the need to own Profondo.
Which one lasts longest?
@@jasongarbett2527 Armaf opening seems to last longer, but the drydown on Chrome sticks around longer in total, but it's splitting hairs because they seems fairly close.
Which one is better?
@@karlloresca7280 I would say Chrome at night, Armaf during the day. Chrome has cashmeran and amber in the dry down that gives a cuddly feel to it, where the added patchouli in the Armaf is better suited for the day.
