Kite always has the best roll for the situation even if he is oblivious or not. e. g. Scythe was picked since he was surrounded with a lot of enemies. The fight with Pitou, it chose the wand to activate the resurrection skill as it deemed that Kite will not come out of it alive. He just says "bad spin" as he has other things in mind. BUT the clown will always.. ALWAYS choose the best weapon for the situation. Additional : When he was surrounded with ants, he was thinking of killing the captain immediately. The clown gave him a weapon that can kill ALL at once.
I disagree, the scythe doesnt really go according to kite's intention, his intention is actually to just kill 1 ant so that gon and kilua has more opportunity to train, Same goes for the gun when gon and kite 1st met, do u really wan a automated gun when there are ppl u dun wan to hurt?

chimera ant kite could potentially be one of the strongest characters in the series. hopefully togashi will bring him/her back. ( i think the dark continent arc is the perfect opportunity )
I agree, especially since she is Meruem's fraternal twin, it's likely that she has the same strength and defensive properties of Meruem. I can't wait to see what she can do. Plus she is beautiful and sassy. She could be my new favorite character.
I think what he was getting at was that they were rather situational. Guns aren't very useful against other Nen users and the scythe would be most effective when he's fighting alone and not in a populated area since it runs the risk of hurting his allies or innocent bystanders.

Crazy slot spin 3 (everyone calls a mace/wand) could actually be a baby's rattle it definitely looks like one rather than a mace or a wand and that would make the most sense if the ability was to reincarnate himself to a newborn. also what I was thinking was since crazy slots has 9 numbers to roll what if like a cat kite has 9 lives to use?
each death lowers the amount of slots, so maybe the lower slots are the stronger weapons too? That’d explain why that hilariously large scythe can do that much damage
I’ve always liked the headcanon that the roll is random and it’s influenced by the clown, but Kite used reverse psychology, by always saying the roll is bad, to trick the clown into giving him exactly the weapon he wanted.
There is a strong possibility that one of the Lucky Slot Weapons has already been shown. Early in the series we see Kite wielding a katana of some kind. Obviously this could just be a normal weapon he has, but since we don't see him carrying it around once he comes back into the story during the Chimera Ant Arc, I think it is far more likely that this katana is actually one of his Lucky Slot weapons, and the reason we never saw it again was simply because he didn't roll the corresponding number.

Maybe the "how could i die like this" weapon looks the way it does because it represents that Kite is finally about to get the short stick. If you dont know slang, to "get the short stick" pretty much means you're out of luck or things arent going well. Which is exactly what happened in his fight with pitou. There's always the worry that Kite no longer has Crazy Slots, but your theory on Nen after Death being the reason for his survival would probably make him/her keep Crazy Slots. I'm suspecting Kite's preferred weapon is a sword, considering his first appearance. I'd wager one or two of Crazy Slots are a sword.

Some potential weapons for kite could be: a mace, a hammer, a lance, a sword, an axe or basically any other medieval weapon. One theory I like is that his best weapon is the actual clown in crazy slots, maybe the clown can be extremely powerful and it could be his number one weapon or something.
i made 3 weapons shield,spear,and hammer the shield has the ability to reflect nen attacks and its breaking point can block any nen ability no matter how strong but he cant roll the sheild for a week after the breaking point and he must never get destracted from the oppenent, the spear can overpower anything it comes in contact with, the hammer can ony be used using the earth rumble technique which is to bash the ground and cause i mini earth quake

The fact that we only got to see 3 of the 9 weapons makes me wonder if the real reason kite was killed so early in the arc was because the other 6 weapons were potentially broken.

12:00 I reckon that kites ability is dome under a contract with conditions like kurapika, but instead of the punishment being death, its that he can’t change it out or choose what weapon he wants. So each weapon is actually really strong even if it’s wrong for the situation. Also, this would be a super hard ability to train as its all random, you may get a certain roll very few times so you’re not actually that good at usuing it

I just watched the episode where Kite used his power in front of Gon and killua against the horse snake chimera ant. Kite admitted that Gon and Killua had simplier power to use than his. To which they wondered “why did you make it like that?!” I have a theory as to why that is. First thing that sticks out is that he is a “Conjurer”!! Who else do we know isn’t a conjurer? Kurapika! Since conjurers can only conjure something as strong as the real thing. Conjurers are at disadvantage. Unless!! They put restrictions on themselves. Since Kite could conjure weapons like a gun. Bullets might not do enough damage againts Nen users. So I assume the first restriction he put was that he would have to give up consciously choosing what weapon he wanted. To gain more power he has to conjure weapons at random possibly giving him a weapon not best suited for his situation. Second possible restriction is that the clown has to speak what it does. That is choosing a weapon at random depending on the roll. Similar to how the bombers have to explain their power in order for it to turn on

i think the tecnique "the hell i wont die" probably does not depend on the roll number. it detatched his counsciousness (memories etc) from his body after death, and fused in the closest newborn life form in the area, rewriting its dna or something alike, so that he could come back to existence again. he literaly merged with the girl, if i remember well in the conversation with the koala kaito seems to have both his memories and the girl's memories. he's visibly different from the old kaito. am i wrong ?
This might be a little late, but, now that I think of it, the sword that kite used to save gon in the flashback in was possibly another crazy-slot ability. this is just speculation but I would love if anyone took a look into it.

I think this whole theory is pretty bullshit. Pitou lost all interest in Kite when she realised Doctor Blythe couldn't resurrect him, and his organs were unnecessary to turn him into a training dummy for the ants. Why would she not feed the unnecessary parts of the strongest human the ants had ever faced up until this part to the queen when the whole reason the queen had requested "special" humans in the first place was because she considered them the perfect food to create a powerful king? It makes perfect sense for Pitou to want to feed parts of Kite to the queen in order to make the king as strong as possible whilst keeping her strongest opponent ever as a training partner for weaker ants.
actually if u read the manga by words, kite always saying that their duty for being hunters was getting their prey- i have always believe that he tried to "infect" the king fetus and kill it with his soul/nen and he was the reason for meruem to be born prematurely, or maybe he tried to kill the queen (he succeded) and took whoever body was there to reencarnate (sorry for my shitty english)
Yes but why would he bet on himself getting eaten? Basically you're saying that if he wasn't eaten, he wouldn't have reincarnated, and that's too much of a risk. I do think he was partially eaten, but I also believe him being eaten or not has nothing to do with him reincarnating, and that he'd reincarnate regardless.
I was thinking in similar lines back when I first saw this. If you remember, Pitou told the king that the brain's the tastiest part of humans, so I figured it'd have made sense for them to feed at least Kite's brain to the queen (the puppet hardly had any need for it). Also, if even the ordinary people eaten by the queen could regain their memories, how could someone like Kite not have his... So overall, he wouldn't necessarily have needed any kind of a reincarnation ability.

It was stated that Kite reincarnating as Meruem's sister is due to one of his Crazy Slots abilities allowing him to reincarnate. Parts of his body being hypothetically eaten by the Queen had nothing to do with it, his own ability was responsible for his soul being put in a new Chimera Ant. This much is not theory.
Crazy Slots seems to be an example of a more benign methodology of Nen contracts or oaths. Compare Pika's very rigid but powerful abilities he can only tap into if he's attacking a hand full of specific people. Kite seemed to base his on a more interesting concept. Luck. Simply by adding the element of luck even what is supposedly his worst rolls are ridiculously powerful. Especially when we consider the limitation of Conjuration. A normal conjurer would have a hard time making a Scythe that has an ability like Silent Waltz which is like another Nen Ability itself. Or a gun with complex parts and the ammunition to go with it. Or more so a talking clown slot that seems to be sentient. Because of the rules of how Nen works I'm facinated by crazy slots. Death could trigger the 3 ability but Slots seems to be really stingy with giving up higher numbers which are supposedly more powerful objects with way more powerful abilities. I can't imagine what an 8 or 9 would be for this power.

I would agree with your theory nut add in the fact that if Kite had not added his soul to the chimera ant body then she might have died from having no soul. Aura is life energy and it is possible the ant body had none until Kite added his to the body. I would like for Feitan's nen to be explained.
Theres a theory that kite says bad spins or roles because he is making the crazy slot upset so it gives him the beat spins and since the nen rule is that he cant pick the slot it increases the damage of the weapons since its harder to get so by using emotuons to persuade the personality of crazy slot without making it

Perhaps Kite's hatsu is so strong is because he detests all of his abilities (being that he always wants to conserve nature and holds animals in the highest respects) all of his rolls are some way focused around being completely advantageous to his situation but hurt nature in some way

I've always thought that Kite's ability wasn't random, every time he used his ability it seemed like the right weapon at the right time. As far as his Scythe was concerned, it always looked like anything that was in the heaviest part of the mist when the Scythe appeared was cut.
I’m pretty sure that the clown has some control over his abilities choices, and the limitation would be to make the clown be disagreeable, but he uses reverse phycology on the clown to make it give him the best weapon for the situation, by always criticizing the weapon. Do you think it was random that when he died he just so happened to get the perfect weapon for the occasion. if Ging was aware of "how could I die like this", there is a possibility that he has seen the ability before. Assuming that he has, it not like Kite has been reincarnated (we've seen kite as a kid, he's clearly the same person). Maybe This ability just provides an absurd amount of luck, which led to his lucky break being born as a chimera ant. Maybe in another fight the ability could simply help him dodge an attack. After all being reborn in a stronger body is probably a better result than avoiding one hit that you aren't prepared for and still having to face your opponent.

You're wrong about two things, Knuckles and Shoot damaged kite. It's proven during the anime where they talk about them damaging him and it started zooming in on his scars and body. Then in my opinion i think you're wrong about his reincarnation ability. I think it's based off Yu Yu Hakusho, like a lot of the characters, including him are. When Kurama's demon form died he went into the body of a nearby pregnant woman. I think that when kite dies using his crazy slots #3 he does the same. The nen ability activates and sends his consciousness through a in infused nen to the queen who was pregnant. The ability sends himself after death into the womb of a pregnant woman which isnt too far off from yours but it draws more connection with yu yu hakusho which makes much more sense. Thats my theory. Mainly emphasized by kite having no antly feature to him.
I thought Kite's ability was spouting exposition all the time. This is me coming from the 2011 anime, though. Kite was an Exposition Machine in that version.
Im pretty sure kite still has his crazy slot ability. Because nen is base on behavior and characteristic of a person. When gon speak with kite, kite has the same personality and behaviour.

My theory about that weapon is able to reincarnate himself through nearby conceiving organism and also if it does, to strengthen the condition, he need physical contact with that kind of organism.. my english is bad hope u understand haha

Combining this would make Kite able to "select" the ability while making it stronger. Remember that kite was trained by Ging, who is probably one of the craftiest nen users, so it would make sense that this craftiness would be passed to Kite as well and put into his ability

Crazy Slots is hands down the coolest Nen ability of all time.
Idk man I think if the decision was genuinely presented to you, you'd opt for one of the other nen abilities.
My personal favorite is godspeed and emperor time is probably the smartest but crazy slots is definitely the most fascinating and creative.

There is a strong possibility that one of the Lucky Slot Weapons has already been shown.
Early in the series we see Kite wielding a katana of some kind. Obviously this could just be a normal weapon he has, but since we don't see him carrying it around once he comes back into the story during the Chimera Ant Arc, I think it is far more likely that this katana is actually one of his Lucky Slot weapons, and the reason we never saw it again was simply because he didn't roll the corresponding number.

There's always the worry that Kite no longer has Crazy Slots, but your theory on Nen after Death being the reason for his survival would probably make him/her keep Crazy Slots.

Some potential weapons for kite could be: a mace, a hammer, a lance, a sword, an axe or basically any other medieval weapon. One theory I like is that his best weapon is the actual clown in crazy slots, maybe the clown can be extremely powerful and it could be his number one weapon or something.
i think that was sort of implied or at least the clown is the best roll for allowing him to survive as opposed to firepower

i made 3 weapons shield,spear,and hammer the shield has the ability to reflect nen attacks and its breaking point can block any nen ability no matter how strong but he cant roll the sheild for a week after the breaking point and he must never get destracted from the oppenent, the spear can overpower anything it comes in contact with, the hammer can ony be used using the earth rumble technique which is to bash the ground and cause i mini earth quake

The fact that we only got to see 3 of the 9 weapons makes me wonder if the real reason kite was killed so early in the arc was because the other 6 weapons were potentially broken.
Possiblity that others are more broken because if you see he can't die and now that is a sick ability, and I also believe the other six are more powerfull
12:00 I reckon that kites ability is dome under a contract with conditions like kurapika, but instead of the punishment being death, its that he can’t change it out or choose what weapon he wants. So each weapon is actually really strong even if it’s wrong for the situation. Also, this would be a super hard ability to train as its all random, you may get a certain roll very few times so you’re not actually that good at usuing it
If you remember Wings lessons, Nen literally means “to burn the soul” so to imply that souls are nonexistent in the series seems a little insane

I just watched the episode where Kite used his power in front of Gon and killua against the horse snake chimera ant.
Kite admitted that Gon and Killua had simplier power to use than his. To which they wondered “why did you make it like that?!”
I have a theory as to why that is. First thing that sticks out is that he is a “Conjurer”!! Who else do we know isn’t a conjurer? Kurapika!
Since conjurers can only conjure something as strong as the real thing. Conjurers are at disadvantage.
Unless!! They put restrictions on themselves. Since Kite could conjure weapons like a gun. Bullets might not do enough damage againts Nen users.
So I assume the first restriction he put was that he would have to give up consciously choosing what weapon he wanted.
To gain more power he has to conjure weapons at random possibly giving him a weapon not best suited for his situation.
Second possible restriction is that the clown has to speak what it does. That is choosing a weapon at random depending on the roll.
Similar to how the bombers have to explain their power in order for it to turn on

i think the tecnique "the hell i wont die" probably does not depend on the roll number.
it detatched his counsciousness (memories etc) from his body after death, and fused in the closest newborn life form in the area, rewriting its dna or something alike, so that he could come back to existence again. he literaly merged with the girl, if i remember well in the conversation with the koala kaito seems to have both his memories and the girl's memories. he's visibly different from the old kaito. am i wrong ?

This might be a little late, but, now that I think of it, the sword that kite used to save gon in the flashback in was possibly another crazy-slot ability. this is just speculation but I would love if anyone took a look into it.
This was an awesome video I do hope one day we get the info about the other slots in the future I really want to see a possible crazy slots sword. I would love to see a Nen Explained on Zeno, Kalluto, or Feitan abilities.

I think this whole theory is pretty bullshit. Pitou lost all interest in Kite when she realised Doctor Blythe couldn't resurrect him, and his organs were unnecessary to turn him into a training dummy for the ants. Why would she not feed the unnecessary parts of the strongest human the ants had ever faced up until this part to the queen when the whole reason the queen had requested "special" humans in the first place was because she considered them the perfect food to create a powerful king? It makes perfect sense for Pitou to want to feed parts of Kite to the queen in order to make the king as strong as possible whilst keeping her strongest opponent ever as a training partner for weaker ants.
actually if u read the manga by words, kite always saying that their duty for being hunters was getting their prey- i have always believe that he tried to "infect" the king fetus and kill it with his soul/nen and he was the reason for meruem to be born prematurely, or maybe he tried to kill the queen (he succeded) and took whoever body was there to reencarnate (sorry for my shitty english)
Yes but why would he bet on himself getting eaten? Basically you're saying that if he wasn't eaten, he wouldn't have reincarnated, and that's too much of a risk. I do think he was partially eaten, but I also believe him being eaten or not has nothing to do with him reincarnating, and that he'd reincarnate regardless.
I was thinking in similar lines back when I first saw this. If you remember, Pitou told the king that the brain's the tastiest part of humans, so I figured it'd have made sense for them to feed at least Kite's brain to the queen (the puppet hardly had any need for it). Also, if even the ordinary people eaten by the queen could regain their memories, how could someone like Kite not have his... So overall, he wouldn't necessarily have needed any kind of a reincarnation ability.

It was stated that Kite reincarnating as Meruem's sister is due to one of his Crazy Slots abilities allowing him to reincarnate. Parts of his body being hypothetically eaten by the Queen had nothing to do with it, his own ability was responsible for his soul being put in a new Chimera Ant. This much is not theory.
Crazy Slots seems to be an example of a more benign methodology of Nen contracts or oaths. Compare Pika's very rigid but powerful abilities he can only tap into if he's attacking a hand full of specific people.
Kite seemed to base his on a more interesting concept. Luck. Simply by adding the element of luck even what is supposedly his worst rolls are ridiculously powerful. Especially when we consider the limitation of Conjuration. A normal conjurer would have a hard time making a Scythe that has an ability like Silent Waltz which is like another Nen Ability itself. Or a gun with complex parts and the ammunition to go with it. Or more so a talking clown slot that seems to be sentient.
Because of the rules of how Nen works I'm facinated by crazy slots. Death could trigger the 3 ability but Slots seems to be really stingy with giving up higher numbers which are supposedly more powerful objects with way more powerful abilities. I can't imagine what an 8 or 9 would be for this power.
Kite turn it from random luck to the most best roll ,by simply pissing off the crazy slot by saying bad roll everytime ,which makes the clown choose the best weapon everytime but hey that just a theory

I would agree with your theory nut add in the fact that if Kite had not added his soul to the chimera ant body then she might have died from having no soul. Aura is life energy and it is possible the ant body had none until Kite added his to the body. I would like for Feitan's nen to be explained.
Theres a theory that kite says bad spins or roles because he is making the crazy slot upset so it gives him the beat spins and since the nen rule is that he cant pick the slot it increases the damage of the weapons since its harder to get so by using emotuons to persuade the personality of crazy slot without making it

You saw how small/premature she was & remember nobody knew she was there until she started crying, seemingly out of nowhere. I think he can transfer himself into a recently deceased corps (there are probably more limitations). Perhaps Kite's hatsu is so strong is because he detests all of his abilities (being that he always wants to conserve nature and holds animals in the highest respects) all of his rolls are some way focused around being completely advantageous to his situation but hurt nature in some way

I've always thought that Kite's ability wasn't random, every time he used his ability it seemed like the right weapon at the right time. As far as his Scythe was concerned, it always looked like anything that was in the heaviest part of the mist when the Scythe appeared was cut.
I’m pretty sure that the clown has some control over his abilities choices, and the limitation would be to make the clown be disagreeable, but he uses reverse phycology on the clown to make it give him the best weapon for the situation, by always criticizing the weapon. Do you think it was random that when he died he just so happened to get the perfect weapon for the occasion. Or how he said that the scythe wasn’t a good weapon for the situation even though it was perfect in letting him destroy the huge mass of enemies.

if Ging was aware of "how could I die like this", there is a possibility that he has seen the ability before. Assuming that he has, it not like Kite has been reincarnated (we've seen kite as a kid, he's clearly the same person). Maybe This ability just provides an absurd amount of luck, which led to his lucky break being born as a chimera ant. Maybe in another fight the ability could simply help him dodge an attack. After all being reborn in a stronger body is probably a better result than avoiding one hit that you aren't prepared for and still having to face your opponent.
Or maybe kite just told ging his abilities since ging is his master. Kind of like kurapika and his teacher.

You're wrong about two things, Knuckles and Shoot damaged kite. It's proven during the anime where they talk about them damaging him and it started zooming in on his scars and body.
Then in my opinion i think you're wrong about his reincarnation ability. I think it's based off Yu Yu Hakusho, like a lot of the characters, including him are. When Kurama's demon form died he went into the body of a nearby pregnant woman. I think that when kite dies using his crazy slots #3 he does the same. The nen ability activates and sends his consciousness through a in infused nen to the queen who was pregnant. The ability sends himself after death into the womb of a pregnant woman which isnt too far off from yours but it draws more connection with yu yu hakusho which makes much more sense. Thats my theory. Mainly emphasized by kite having no antly feature to him.
Also none of the ants grew from baby to child to adolescence like kite does

Combining this would make Kite able to "select" the ability while making it stronger. Remember that kite was trained by Ging, who is probably one of the craftiest nen users, so it would make sense that this craftiness would be passed to Kite as well and put into his ability
