This is an awesome idea! I know I've been considering a frame stretch to LJ spec's on my TJ recently. My only critique would be regarding your inner fenders. It appears they could be revisited to gain back some space, particularly in the area behind the seats and In front of the tires. As in just build the fenders to clear the tire and run the rest back out to body width. Great start though.
I've been wanting to do this to my TJ for over a decade. Now I feel dumb knowing it only takes 7 minutes to do. I need some internet magic on my Jeep 🤣
Tony and crew! This is an AMAZING solution and killer product! I am imagining all the other TJ guys salivating right now! Any plans for a JK stretch option in the horizon?
Interesting kit. So it puts all the additional length into the wheel base? I'm not crazy about those super long wheel houses, there's a lot of wasted space there. I'd like to see it in a Scrambler bed version, or maybe make the front area of the wheel house into storage boxes. Pretty cool either way.
Love the conversion! I am in the process of building a 1 ton TJ on my channel with a lot of GenRight parts! I may have to add this to the list in the future!!
Wondering why the fender "boxes" weren't sized to be just a tad bigger than wheel well instead of losing so much space that could be used for something else.
If you can find one for the decent price, do it. But, the popularity of the LJ right now is making then very expensive and it is much cheaper to buy the kit and convert a TJ.

I wish you guys made back half or back quarter YJ frame sections.
Yep. I need to covert mine. Awesome stuff!
Thomas must be drooling.
Awesome design and execution, what innovative products GenRight develops!
Baller kit 🔥 I’m saving to get a shop to do this about 20000$ for everything
Great video, Intellitronix makes a direct fit LED gauge cluster for the CJ, 92-95 YJ & TJ
Wish I had that for my CJ.
Awesome to see Tony getting hands on on the project. Not a lot of company’s that do that. Going to get it done to mine, just a matter of time

Amazing job, great products for the Jeep lovers.

Way cool! You're killing it Tony! Great job!🤙🌴
This is a kick ass idea. Can’t wait to start on mine soon

Hi Tony i am from puerto Rico that is a great information 💯
Awesome. Just a tip though, turn down the background noise aka music so we can hear what you're saying.
Outstanding!!
Wonder if this system would allow for rear seat reinstall? Wish I had gotten an LJ back in the day, but glad this option is available now.
Don't look like it. Looks like they went the performance route vs adding a rear seat.
You would have to use full LJ cage and not the fastback cage, but it IS possible to re-install the rear seat.
this might sound like a dumb question about your cages ,but doesn't the cage allow the chair to go to the very last notch ? I'm six foot 5
Any chance you'll offer an LJ to TJ kit?

will you make the TJ to LJ kit for coil spring suspension?
how long do the rear tube links become after this conversion?
Nice
Would I be able to get a back seat back in?
What size coilovers are u running in rear? 2.0 or 2.5 14?
That dude was nuts cutting with a grinder with no guard . If you ever seen what this can do then you understand my concern
Rad!!
🔥🔥🔥
For the price of the "kit" might as well get the lj to begin with and save yourself a ton of work
Will this, or a similar methodology work to make a YJ/CJ8?
It's in the works, frame sections would be the same with a slight difference in the interior tub section.
@@GenRightOffRoad awesome, I was trying to find the TJ/LJ kit on your sight with no luck yet.
@@87FoRunner You can buy everything separate or add on options for everything: genright.com/products/tj-to-lj-frame-kit.html
@@GenRightOffRoad I'd buy if for my yJ for sure, I need the extra space.
Will the factory TJ bench seat still fit.
What’s the wheel base on it now?
115"
👍🔥
Easier just to buy an LJ...??

Awesome video but need to change up that music!!!
It's annoying AF.
Your kit is great, but the music in the video killed my ears with my headphones on.
Your music in the background is irritating but I did enjoy the rest of us very good just leave off your music
TJ to LJ ??? Stupid ! Why can't you just buy an LJ ?
Dude, the fing music. I'd rather listen to these dudes breathing into the mic.
