I'm literally crying right now because of chilblains pain
Me too😭 Keep yourself warm. Don't wear tight shoes. Exercise. Eat pain killer like "denzen ds" apply GTN forte or GTN cream. This helps me but not that much. This is like a curse but i wish this goes away forever!😭 due to this i hate winters!
@@mahimaharoon I feel you 😭 I also hate winter..
Same here sis
Love your work Thien and perfectly presented! keep at it ;)
Thanks old friend! Much appreciated and I will try my best.
Chilblains recover quickly? Every spring they seem to resolve themselves. And they will be back promptly 6 months later, no matter how much I try to keep them warm, dry and use natural fibres
Have you ever tried nitroglycerin cream? What about viagra for vasodilation
@@77Avadon77 I’ve tried glyceryl trinitrate which is similar to nitroglycerin and had no success. I’m hesitant to go down the route of artificial muscle relaxants as it most likely cause dependency as I would probably use them heavily all winter
@@InterTay Have you had covid-19? Evidently Chilblains is a long-term side effect. I was prescribed a steroid cream by my dermatologist.
@@danaesilva1991 it’s been happening for 10+ years. Unrelated to Covid
Any surfers out there? I’m pretty positive there’s no cure for us😢

Update, my winter year with no problems due to never lettering toes go numb- And when they do get chilly DO NOT RAPIDLY WARM WITH HEAT- let the warming come back very slowly

Great work 🤙🤙
aiiii Big boy Hustle Russell! good stuff boss.
I just realized I have this tonight. It's been on my toes for a couple weeks now and is irritating. I need to find some answers as part of my job is snow removal in the winter. Initially I thought it was my winter wool socks causing the irritation, but after I switched back to the cotton the condition is still here, now I know why it's chillblains
Same happening to me
Love the Video Thien! keep it up
Thank you! It's taken me 6 months to get over the fear of being in vids haha. Appreciate you!
What type of doctor do you recommend seeing for chillblains? Dermatologist?
MY TOES ARE ITCHY AND HAVE RED BUMPS ON THEM. HELPPPPPPP
I found an ayurveda remedy to get rid or reduce the itchiness and it really works. Apply mustard oil every morning and night. Unfortunately, it doesnt help with the swelling or the pain.
Awesome info man thanks for the advice!
Thanks for the tips .. I suppose walking around barefoot in lock down hasn't done me any favours 😳😬
Socks, shoes or even slippers for warmth sake would be better :)
It's not that you need to keep your feet hot or cold all the time. it's that you need to be careful about the very quick transitions Specifically from hot to cold. You can also try gradual cold therapy training like wim hoff to increase your ability to handull cold and stop your body from overreacting to it
I have chilblains on my right index finger. It is swollen, red & occasionally itchy. Makes it challenging for me to hold a pen properly. There's a small blister & I'm trying very hard not to make it burst. What is the cure for this?
Good I formation Thein.
Chillblains don't sound chill at all! Glad I invested in some good wool socks...
I have an interesting one for you. I usee to get chilblains real bad on my toes, almost couldn't walk sometimes. Nowadays though in cold weather, its almost like they start to form, i feel the swelling and heat but they never get beyond that stage, never even get to the itchy stage, then a day or 2 later they disappear. Do you think these are still technically chilblains or could it be something else?
see a skin dr... i was found to have lupus !!
If mine act up, I spray my toes or dab with Apple cider vinegar! Works!!!👌🥰👌
I think it's also hereditary I might have gotten mine from my mom
Itching

Thanks T^T they really are the worst!

Chilblains, on fingers and toes, become very itchy at 7:00-8:00 PM
I found an ayurveda remedy that reduces or completely gets rid of the itchiness. Massage the affected areas with mustard oil every morning and night. Unfortunately it doesn’t help with the swelling or the pain.
