  • In this video I compare the new 7mm PRC to the 300 Win mag. I want to see if the 300 Win mag can hold up to the 7mm PRC in hunting and long distance target shooting. Which one do you think is better?

You nailed it. The whole idea of the 7 PRC is to get custom hand load performance (similar to 300 WM and 7 RM) out of a factory loading. Most people don’t hand load and it’s nice to be able to pick something up off the shelf and really push the limits on hunting and target shooting

🤣 First, let's end this "Non-sense" about competition/long range target shooting once and for all! The modern day "competition shooters" aren't choosing either of these cartridges - too much recoil, too short of barrel life, and many better options! So, we are left with choosing between the two cartridges, regarding their use as a "hunting cartridge"! Is the 7mm prc - with the additional 30 ft/s velocity in the 175 grain bullet than the 7mm Remington Magnum using 65 grains of Reloader 22 (Nosler's Reloading Manual says that you can get 2,970 ft/s with 62.5 grains of Reloader 22 and pushing that same 175 grain bullet, in the 7mm Remington Magnum) - "better" than the 7mm Remington Magnum? NO! It was exactly what I said months ago! I even angered some famous Gun Writers and U-Tube Channel Gun Reviewers for saying so! 😡 While the 7mm prc is a well designed (beltless 7mm) cartridge, the performance difference between the 7mm prc and 7mm Remington Magnum are "Meaningless Differences" for hunting! 🤷‍♂️ THIS IS ALL MARKTING HYPE, used to replace the 7mm Remington Magnum with the 7mm prc! ☹ As an older gentleman, I have seen this "Marketing Ploy" a 100 times before! 👴 I never get too excited about "Any New Cartridge", but rather, wait until it has proven itself over time before buying one! Remember that the 7mm Remington Magnum has many more factory ammunition and gun options to choose from! So, if I am a "New Hunter", I would always be wise to choose the "proven cartridge" over any "new cartridge"! Just my thoughts, but it is your money! 🤑

Very true Ron... if people use a 7mm for long range shooting its the 284 Win. Most people are shooting 6mm cartridges. Hornady is marketing to the casual long range shooter, nothing wrong with casual long range shooters! Now the 7mm PRC is a very good cartridge. Hornady is just trying to turn every hunter into a long distance hunter.... which I'm not a fan of personally

You might be missing the whole reason for the PRC lineup. It is about modern chambering for much longer and more efficient bullets. You would be hard pressed to get the 190 gr rounds to fit in your magazines and you would have shove the bullet deep into the case and you would lose capacity and possibly some accuracy. The 7mag and 300 mag are great rounds but the Saami spec is set for lighter and short older style bullets

Really depends on the type of rifle/stock and weight of that rifle. I've shot a light weight 30-06 that kicked worse than my 300 Weatherby. I don't mind recoil so I don't really talk a lot about it.

🕵️‍♂️ But, to most people (especially "New Shooters"), recoil does matter Austin! 🤯 And, the last thing I would ever recommend for a "New Shooter" is a Magnum Rifle (with limited Factory Ammunition Offerings too and expensive to shoot, which limits their ability to "practice shooting")! 🤪 Doing so will also, likely end up causing them to develop a flinch and other bad shooting habits (like holding the rifle improperly)! ☹

Hornady and Ruger introduce new calibers and desert them in 10-20 years. A few examples: The Ruger Compact magnums, 480 Ruger, the 416 Ruger, almost deserted 375 Ruger. Ammo if if can find it has jumped about 50% in 2 years. Winchester and Remington played with short magnums. Reimngton had 4 RUMs and the 8mm Remmag but only the 300 is left. Even Weatherby is playing with compact magnums. They are not better than existing cartridges they are to be chambered in lighter rifles. When the dust clears the newbies die off and the cartridges from the 1940s thru 1960s survive.

If you handload and have a smith that can spin you up a barrel and enjoy building rifles and developing loads then there is no reason to change what you are doing. If you want to buy a rifle and a cheap box of ammo to shoot sub 1/2 moa then just get a prc. The old school rounds have a ton more options for ammo but that also means spending a ton more finding a cartridge that shoots sub moa. With my win mags and 308s that i still love i was spending 50+ a box for quality hunting ammo that shot good enough for me and i easily always had 12+ different boxes on hand for testing. Then along comes handloading and you get into a competition with yourself trying to squeeze everything out of that round and can end up with excellent results. Finally had to get a 6.5cm to see what its all about. Now i have several and they are all 1/4 moa rifles with ammo thats 28 bucks a box. Got a 300prc and same deal cheaper ammo and 1/4 moa. I feel theres nothing to do but start ringing steel or dropping critters... but i am looking forward to loading for the 300prc still. But probably wont until i have a few 100 rounds of spent cases

The 300 win mag would whip the pants off the 7 prc loaded properly!! For one the bullets are seated way to damn far down in the case of the 300 win and are more than capable of running rounds out around the 3.600” to 3.700 depending on mag box you seat the bullets where they should be seated that opens up the case volume for more powder! My personal 300 win runs a 230 Berger hybrid target at 2890 and a 215 Berger at 2975 with N570! If you pick the right bullets loaded properly pushed by a slow powder like 570 the 300 win is one damn hard round to beat. All this 7 prc is is a fast twist 7 rem mag the ballistics and velocity’s are identical and my personal 7 mag shoots the 175 long range accubonds at 3030 with retumbo so that right there out performs the prc. My personal rifle is a custom built and chambered on a 1-8 twist hart barrel so I can seat the bullets out much much further than an off the shelf rifle. All these new calibers they are coming out with are an absolute joke all there doing is modernizing calibers we’ve had for 75 years and giving them a new name nothing is special about them unless your some Joe blow gonna buy an off the shelf rifle and shoot factory ammo then that’s the only advantage to them but almost all the older caliber loaded right chambered right and the right twist barrel will whip the shit out these new Hornady cartridges! They claim the 6.5 PRC will out perform the 264 win mag HORSE SHIT it will best you can do with the 6.5 and a 140 is 3000 maybe a tad more the my 264 shoots the 156 Berger’s at 2995 now where is that 6.5 performance compared to the 264 loaded and chambered the right way it’s no there even factory gun vs factory gun the 264 will eat the prc all day long with up to 140s and the 264 has enough velocity advantage over the 6.5 i gurantee even with a 140 in the 264 and a 156 in the 6.5 the velocity of the 264 will make up for any bc advantage you goikg with the heavier 156 in the 6.5!! Boils down to cubic inches which ever case has more cubic inches will win every time!!

Down load everything that is competition to there new caliber and infantile the actual velocity of there’s by 150 fps put the lowest bc bullet in what there comparing it to then the highest in there caliber and run the ballistics that’s how they make there shit seem so good!! Tell me this MR know it all how the hell will the 7 prc push bullets faster than the 7 rem mag with a case that holds two less grains of powder?? It’s called simple math there is no way in hell can’t be done!! Unless you fudge shit up like Hornady does to push there bullshit onto us!! @@Honkers716 Let's actually look at the numbers instead of making stuff up. Using the same bullets I used for this video. Using a 10mph wind, the wind drift difference at 400 yards is less than an inch. At 600 yards it's 2 inches. So stop making crap up to favor your favorite cartridge. Why am I limiting it only to 600 yards? Because I don't think people should do long range hunting. So for the vast majority of hunters that won't take a shot past 500 yards... There really isn't a difference between the two. While I have the numbers pulled up... At 1000 yards the 7mm PRC has 8 inch less drift than a 300 Win mag. An advantage for the 7 PRC, but not the numbers you're portraying. I have zero issues with the 7 PRC, it's a good cartridge that will do everything you need. @@Honkers716 I could be wrong... but I highly doubt the 7mm PRC will be used for serious long range competition. It has too much recoil for F-class, bench rest and PRS. Sure it could be used for ELR competitions... but why? You could do much better in 375 caliber. It's going to be a great hunting/casual long distance target cartridge.
7PRC being the best new cartridge is so subjective to the individuals opinion. It might be your new favorite cartridge... But a fan of the 28 Nosler will say the 28 Nosler stomps the 7 PRC in wind drift, drop and energy.
Happy reloading! I'm sure your 7mm PRC will be great!
Where are you getting those numbers? And are you using a 150 gr soft point bullet in the 300 Win mag? haha. Again I'm using the same bullets I talked about in the video. When sighted in at 100 yards the 7mm PRC has 48 inches of wind drift. The 300 Win mag has 55 inches of wind drift. So how is that double the wind drift? And I'm never going to shoot at an animal past 400 yards. So wind drift difference at 1000 yards doesn't matter.
I don't care that you're a fanboy of Hornady or of the 7mm PRC. The problem is that you choose to ignore or skew the numbers of the other cartridges you compare to the 7mm PRC. You eat up all the hype that Hornady feeds you without doing any research on the existing cartridges.

🕵️‍♂️ Well, I wanted to see what the difference was between the 7mm prc and 300 wsm, using the same weight bullet and of the same make - for hunting purposes! So, I chose to compare both, using one of my favorite hunting bullets - the 168 grain Nosler ABLR - and at a range that I consider an ethical limit for shooting elk at (500 yards)! I also chose a powder that would give me the least amount of recoil, with the most amount of performance (so I chose to use 66.2 grains of Reloader 22 for the 7mm prc and a muzzle velocity of 3,100 ft/s)! What I found is that they both had the same exact recoil (26.05 ft lbs) and that the difference in drop at 500 yards was only a 0.4" advantage for the 7mm prc (and, if you can really shoot that difference, consistently at 500 yards, then your a better shot than me) - and both the 7mm prc and 300 wsm had basically the same energy (for all practical purposes - only a 20 ft lb advantage for the 7mm prc at that distance)! So, nothing to get real excited about for me and my hunting purposes! 🤷‍♂️😴

It should already be apparent to you, without even running the numbers - because the 270 bullet has a larger base, with more surface area and a slightly higher B.C. bullet (so, it will push the bullet at a higher velocity and keep that advantage at long distances) - as to which will win this contest! But, using the following inputs for my typical hunting conditions, we will run the numbers in the Horneday Ballistics Calculator for comparison: Hunting Elevation = 8,000 ft, Temperature = 32 F, Relative Humidity = 20%, Cross Wind = 10 mph, Zero = 200 yards! The results (using Your highest muzzle velocity of either the 6.5 prc or 264 Winchester Magnum, of 3,065 ft/s) were as follows: 264 Winchester Magnum/6.5 prc: Muzzle Velocity = 3,065 ft/s, Bullet Velocity @ 500 yards = 2,505 ft/s, Bullet Energy @ 500 yards = 1,950 ft lbs, Bullet Drop @ 500 yards = -31.2", Wind Drift @ 500 yards = -9.2"! For the 270 Winchester, using Reloader 26 (though you could get greater velocities than either of these two 6.5's also, using Magpro or Reloader 16 powder too), for the 270 Winchester: Muzzle Velocity = 3,150 ft/s, Bullet Velocity @ 500 yards = 2,582 ft/s, Bullet Energy @ 500 yards = 1,998 ft lbs, Bullet Drop @ 500 yards = -29.4", Wind Drift @ 500 yards = -8.8"! Horneday, in their last podcast #44, made another great point too! Since the (Nosler) Reloading Manual(s) shows that almost all the loads only fill no more than 80% of the 264 Winchester case, without exceeding maximum pressures (a very poorly designed cartridge for the task at hand, because of this) - laying that case on it's side and shooting it will result in a more unequal distribution of the powder in the case and an unequal and inconsistent powder ignition - thus, resulting in greater "inaccuracies in accuracy"! Also, with the heavier bullet and additional powder (while needing a 26" barrel to work as advertised), the 264 Winchester Magnum will have more recoil than the 270 Winchester here (and 6.5 prc also, because of the extra powder - 75 grains of LTR powder for the 264 Winchester Magnum vs. 56 grains of Norma MRP powder for the 6.5 prc - it used to get only 20 ft/s more muzzle velocity than even the 6.5 prc, using Nosler's Reloading data)! So, those are the FACTS! The 270 Winchester just "performs better" than either and will do it with less recoil here too (which also helps for better accuracy, as well)! So (once again), YOUR WRONG - as you also made a mistake on the recoil of the 6.5 prc in your tables and the B.C. of the 145 grain 0.277 ELD-X bullet that you were using to make your comparison with - it should be a B.C. of 0.536, not a B.C. of 0.485, for that 0.277 145 grain ELD-X bullet! Not good Ron, as your not even using the right information to make your comparisons with! 😱 Trust me, just stay with the 270 Winchester and you'll be better off! 😜 By now, apart from the "PERFORMANCE", I shouldn't have to go into ALL of the other ADDITIONAL REASONS why the 270 Winchester is better...like rifle availability, cost to shoot, brass cost and availability, larger bullet frontal area, barrel life (1/2 of what the 270 Winchester can get), 31% additional recoil than compared to the 270 Winchester (using the numbers from your own charts - though I get 38% less recoil, using my suggested load, and also better performance with the 270 Winchester), etc...! 😃 You said that "you wanted to SHOW OFF what the 270 Winchester CAN REALLY DO"! But, did You? ☹ You also said that "You really wanted to GIVE the 270 Winchester ALL THE CREDIT that it can get"! But, did You? 🙄 You also said that "the 264 Winchester Magnum IS SUPERIOR to both the 6.5 prc and 270 Winchester IN BALLISTICS AND PERFORMANCE" - but that doesn't match up, when even comparing the 6.5 prc to the 264 Winchester Magnum, even using your own tables! 🤯 Hey Ron, using my 270 Winchester load (with 53% less recoil), I can get 1,998 ft lbs of Terminal Energy at 500 yards (compared to your listed 1,979 ft lbs of Terminal Energy for the 26 Nosler, at the same distance)! 🤣 But, those are just some of the REASONS WHY I BEG TO DIFFER WITH YOU! 🕵️‍♂️ I hope that YOU WILL RECONSIDER ALL OF YOUR "CONCLUSIONS" 🤦‍♂️ regarding the 270 Winchester, as it is "SUPERIOR" to ALL of it's "competitors" and that is WHY it hasn't been "dethroned" 🤴 after nearly a Century (100 Years)? 😁👨‍💻

😎 Ron, even the $27.50 box of 270 Winchester Superformance Horneday Factory Ammunition that I recently bought - in the 140 grain SST bullet - has a muzzle velocity of 3,090 ft/s! 😯 So, both the 6.5 prc and 264 Winchester Magnum (with their fastest handloads), don't get those velocities! ☹ Try even finding Factory Ammunition on the shelf for either the 6.5 prc and 264 Winchester Magnum (Good Luck)? 🤪 Pick the right bullet and powder combination and the 270 Winchester will bury either of them ☠ (see my other comments, for more specific details)! 😜

For hunting inside of 800 yards you'd be better off with a 180 grain bullet in the 300 WM. Beyond that the higher BC will start to pay off. One thing many people overlook is the frontal area of a bullet...those 7mm's are sleek when flying through the air, but they're also gonna be sleek when passing through an animal. They have a harder time converting their energy into tissue damage. So even though the energy and velocity look about the same on paper there's a significant difference in terminal performance between the two.

I think that is fairly significant. If you don't think so then you'd be better off trading in your magnum for the little '08. It uses less powder, has less recoil, ammo is cheaper, and it's usually chambered in lighter weight rifles. You also get a shorter bolt cycle and more magazine capacity. Lots of advantages to the smaller round, and the performance difference is "not significant".

Here we go again.... All about Sniping at game! With that said, with most of today's bullet technologies, 30 cal kills game better than any 7mm. Most serious Alaskan big game hunters seem to agree, watching numerous online vids. Take it a step further and the 338 cals kill better than the 30. For a portable, realistically shootable rifle package, that's why my pick out to 600 yards, is the 300 RUM, for elk, bear and moose. Say I'm shooting at a big Bull at 550 yards in difficult field conditions... I would feel the most confidence using my lighter hunting weight 300 RUM, over any lesser cartridge. Obviously 7mm can get the job done, but I prefer using more than enough gun, to give me an advantage. I've just seen and heard too many failure stories using 7mm. One example is my shooting a cow elk 3 times in the lungs at 40 yards with a 7 Rem Mag/160 NPs. She just stood there like nothing happened! A big Bull could have run down into the Hell Hole just feet away! Every elk shot with my 338 went right down! My buddy just lung shot a big 5 point Bull, using his 325 WSM and it managed to go 100 feet! A moose hunter I know had to shoot a small Bull moose 5 times with his 7 Rem Mag! Another friend dropped his bull elk with one well placed 300 Weatherby. I could go on and on with similar stories, like a hunting companion having to shoot a Musk Ox multiple times with the wonderful 7 STW! And I've not even related my stories of guys shooting plains game in Africa with dinky cartridges! I personally respect game more than that and want quick humane kills! Hey, if guys want to hunt everything with their 6.5s, have at it. Not me. Personally I just do not get all the excitement over the 7 PRC? Other than the Snipers. For hunting we already have the 7 Weatherby, 7STW, 7RUM and 28 Nosler, which in my opinion is better than the PRC! When hunting, I'm out to harvest meat humanely and could care less about "effiency" or recoil! Give me a big diesel for towing my trailer! I want more than enough gun and do not view killing animals as a let's see if my 243 can do it. Obviously a dedicated deer hunter could get by nicely using a 270 Win. But these new hotrod smaller calibers are designed for more power at distance. Well, we already have those in 30 cal and up. A 300 Winchester has always been a favorite of mine. A bit more oomph than an 06. I shoot a Tikka Superlite in 300 Win, but view the 300 as a minimum for hunting most big game. Again a 338 is better. Heck my 300 Weatherby is too! I do have a 28 Nosler for mountain game, but am a bit concerned about choosing it for elk. Yes it can kill an elk, but as a hunter I would prefer to choose my customized T3 in 375 Ruger out to 400+. One heck of a hunting round for nearly anything that walks! Even downloaded for deer! I've hit gongs with it out to 600 yards. My point is, for a general hunting cartridge, in my opinion the 7 PRC doesn't even come close to a 300 Win. Great video for sure!

While I don't think it matters much I agree the 30 cals are better killers than the smaller 7mms. Saying a 7mm kills as good as a 300 is like saying a 6.5 kills as good as a 7mm. I've been hunting for over 20 years and can definitely tell a difference as you go up in bullet size. All the paper ballistics don't mean nothing soon as the bullet makes contact. When the bullet strikes the animal bc goes out the window.

🤠 Austin, the "reason" why Browning and Winchester haven't published their 6.8 Western Ballistics is because they don't want you to know the "Truth"! The "Truth" is that using Factory Loads (2,900 ft/s with the 150 grain Nosler ABLR bullet in the 270 Winchester and 2,970 ft/s with the 165 grain Nosler ABLR bullet in the 6.8 Western), that the difference in Bullet Drop and Wind Drift at 500 yards is only 1" for both! I can simply correct for that, when I aim! The 6.8 Western uses an additional 6.4 ft lbs (a 26% increase, from the 270 Winchester) in recoil to "accomplish" this "feat" - which will more than offset any velocity gains that you might get! 🤣 However, my handloads are faster and their "Non-Compressed" handloads are slower (Hodgedon's Website only shows 2 loads where you can even get over 2,900 ft/s in velocity with that load - but, both are slower than the velocity "acclaimed" by the factory load)! Remember that "Compressed Loads" (by stuffing the case with excess powder, you get an "inconsistent" burn rate) also negatively effect shooting accuracy as well! Horneday's Reloading Manuals (unlike Nosler's) don't show that the 7mm prc is a "compressed load" (just like the 6.8 Western's Factory Load is too)! This deceptive trick by manufacturer's has been going on for years and doesn't accurately represent the cartridges "normal use"! I sent my comments to Ron Spomer and finally received a response from him yesterday! He agreed with my analysis, even though he didn't say that in "exactly those words"! So, here is my e-mail to him, regarding this "cartridge comparison"! 😁:

🤠 Ronbo (Montana Mountain Man) - Ron, I want to "Challenge You" on why I think the 270 Winchester is a better choice than the 6.8 Western for game animals in the lower 48 states! As you already have previously stated, the minimum energy determined needed to kill an elk is 1,500 ft lbs, by a State Fish and Game study! Jim Harmer conducted a survey of thousands of hunters and found that only 3% of hunters have ever taken a shot at a game animal beyond 500 yards, with even a smaller percentage being successful! So, if we limit the discussion to 500 yards (because of this reason), then we find the following results: 1.) Using the factory load data of 2,900 ft/s for the 270 Winchester shooting the 150 grain Nosler ABLR bullet (B.C. of 0.591) vs. the 165 Grain Nosler ABLR bullet (B.C. of 0.620) at 2,970 ft/s - as you have used for your previous comparisons - we find both have more than enough energy to kill an elk at 500 yards! So, energy is not a factor for either of these cartridges because once a bullet passes through an elk, any excess energy not used is wasted in the ground behind it! Using Horneday's Ballistics Calculator and my "typical hunting conditions" - Temperature = 20F, Relative Humidity = 20%, Hunting Elevation = 8,000 feet, Wind Drift = 10 mph, the above B.C.'s and Muzzle Velocities for each bullet - and a zero of 200 yards, we find that the energy for the 270 Winchester is 1,780 ft lbs and the 6.8 Western is 2,063 ft lbs at 500 yards! So, both have more than enough energy to kill an elk at this distance! Anything more is a "moot point" (not a deciding factor in the final outcome)! 2.) From running the numbers we can also see that the difference in Wind Drift at 500 yards is 0.4" (with a 10 mph cross wind), which translates to 1.2" difference with a 30 mph cross wind! But, can you really shoot that difference at 500 yards anyway? And, even if you can, all you have to do is adjust your aim by 1"! Is that a big deal? Nope! And, if the wind is not blowing, it is also a "moot point"! The same holds true for bullet drop, which is also a 1" difference at 500 yards, between the two! So, just make this minimal correction when you are aiming! No big deal! Right? 3.) Is the additional 6.4 ft lbs (26% more) of recoil worth not having to make only a 1" Correction (the actual DIFFERENCE in BULLET DROP and WIND DRIFT, between the 270 Winchester and 6.8 Western) at 500 yards, or will all this Additional (6.4 ft lbs, or 26% more) recoil, that will actually effect your shot by that much 1" (at 500 yards) or more? You know the answer already, since most people can't handle the recoil above a 30-06 (According to the U.S. Military study, while using a 150 grain bullet, as you also previously stated), which is several ft lbs less than this 6.8 Western, even using the 30-06 in the 190 grain Nosler ABLR bullet (as I calculated that too, with the 30-06 and the heavier 190 grain recoiling load, to still be 1.4 ft lbs of less recoil than the 6.8 Western when using the same hunting condition inputs)! 4.) I can get 2,900 ft/s, or more, using half a dozen different powders with my 270 Winchester and this 150 grain Nosler ABLR bullet (Including the most temperature stable powder, H4831)! But, if I use Reloader 26, I can close the gap and even overtake the ballistics of the 6.8 Western! If you look at the Hodgedon's website, only 2 powders give you over 2,900 ft/s for the 6.8 Western and the 165 grain Nosler ABLR bullet! The best of which listed is 2,956 ft/s (using 68.5 grains of Ramshot powder)! However, most of the videos I've seen, people were cronographing their velocities at even slower numbers! Also, because the 6.8 Western factory loads are using a "compressed load", to get their higher velocities, that will also effect accuracy is a negative way too, because of inconsistencies in powder combustion! 5.) Thus, if you enjoy absorbing the extra 6.4 lbs (26% more) of extra recoil - with NO practical difference ballistically and NO needed additional terminal energy (which will effect you ability to shoot as accurately as the 270 Winchester), go ahead! I just will say, NO THANK YOU to that "Idea"! 🤣 I see "No Added Gains" From Doing So and if I want to shoot the heavier bullets (which I would only want for shorter shots in the timber, because the 150 grain is all I need to kill them out to 500 yards in open country), then I would just rebarrel one of my existing 270 Winchester rifles! 😜 This "Argument" also hold true for the 270 Winchester against ANY of the other "Heavier Recoiling Rifles"! The 270 Winchester is ALL I NEED!!! 😁

No, I didn't see it (thanks for the info.), but I have heard that from more than 1 person! Very Interesting! As far as open country "long range shooting ", I would prefer the 150 grain Nosler ABLR over the 165 grain Nosler ABLR bullet anyway! That is why I would choose the 270 wsm over the 6.8 Western anyway! If I am hunting in the timber for elk, I would just bring out the "good old 30-06", with a 200 grain Swift A-Frame bullet, and be done with it! 😜

300 Win mag has some Federal ammo that shoots the 215 gr Berger Hybrid at 2850 FPS. That makes it toe to toe with the 175 ELD-X in the 7mm PRC out to 1000. Past 1000 the 7mm PRC starts to take over.

@@ReloadingWeatherby How does it do in comparative bullet weights even if the BC is lower? And I would say is comparing hand loaded 300win mag to factory PRC isnt the best comparison. So would these results also stand for say 300 WSM? Since that round runs so close to 300 win mag.... I haven't seen that comparison on UA-cam yet.
