I bought the 9pc set like he has here. Any idea how it arrives? From the pictures it looked like just a couple small skids the size of a couple refrigerators but it just arrived and I have to pick it up and now I'm concerned it won't fit in my truck!!!
@@Gideon_Judges6 my 7 piece arrived on two half pallets. Each had a tall cabinet with the smaller cabinets inside of it. I imagine you’d get 3 half pallets since you have two extra cabinets.
Thanks for going over the Husky cabinets, exactly the info I needed. Good to have a Canadian perspective too. I have a question: would it be possible to remove one of the three units under the table top, so that a stool could be used to sit at a computer?

Thanks for making this video. Can you please tell me if the Husky logos on the right cabinet doors are removable or are they stamped into the steel? I can't tell in the video if they are stickers or not. I'm looking for a smooth face cabinet. Thank you.
The two tall cabinets have a textured husky stamp if that makes sense, all the other cabinets are just stamped with a very discrete husky logo that barely shows. In my opinion they all look clean.
Do you notice that on the taller cabinets, when you “lock” them with the key you can easily put a small screwdriver in the center and lift up the locking arm defeating the lock in the cabinet really easily. I haven’t found a way to make them more secure? Such a shame because at this price point I would expect to be locked securely.
Great video and awesome detailing setup! I'm also looking at New Age and craftsman. It's funny cause the Husky makes the most sense but I don't really care for the all black look! To each his own I guess

How do you feel about the piece of steel that is on the large cabinet door that is closed first. I don't really know what its called, but I have seen reviews that when it is locked and you pull hard enough on that door that, that piece of steel is too short and it just breaks open.
Just purchased my first condo and I’ve been looking for a clean, dark storage system. “Stealth” as you nicely described it. I will pull the trigger on this once I see them go on sale. Couple of questions: 1) Is there a significant difference between Regular and Heavy Duty? 2) Would it be possible to link me to protective film that I could apply to the cabinets? 3) What is the length of your stainless steel work surface? 4) What is the lowest price these for for? I read a review on Home Depot that one person bought it at $1299 USD. Thank you. Great video and information.
Thanks, the heavy duty is a bit better in terms of quality but personally I would still go for the regular ones based on my needs. I mainly store my detailing products and do not really use the cabinets for heavy duty tasks so I don’t need to spend extra for no reason. The protection film can be found on xpel website or a cheaper route I recommend is to line up tool liner material instead. This material is accessible everywhere including Amazon, it comes in a roll and you cut it to spec. The bench is the standard 84” sold by Husky. The best price I’ve seen and I was able to purchase the 2 configurations I show in the video was around $1400 CAD. So that sounds about right.Having said all this I highly recommend theses cabinets, they have been amazing for me and I have no regrets. Good luck on your new cabinets

The two big cabinets have the smaller cabinets inside them when delivered so they will be heavy to move. I took mine out before I was able to move them from the pallet. One suggestion I will make is to check the cabinets for any damages before you pick them up because it will become inconvenient to have to take them back afterwards.
Great video. Did you have these cabinet shipped to your home or to HD. I know they usually come pretty well packed on a skid. My question is how were they delivered. Did they come from a freight shipping company? Or did HD deliver using their trucks with the forklift. I have a long steep driveway that will not be easy to move these. Thanks again
Hi, thanks for watching, so this setup came well packed on two pallets which were delivered to my home with the trucking company named hi-way 9. They unloaded this with a forklift all the way into my garage and luckily no damage was done it was a very professional delivery experience and I was overall really happy with how well they handled my package as well as how well they packed it. @@DetailProjects So it sounds like you paid for the additional delivery to place in your garage. Thanks. I really like these cabinets but I don't like large delivery trucks trying to come up my driveway and pickup at the store doesn't sound appealing either.
The two tall cabinets and the three lower cabinets are free standing so you can place them how you desire, however the three top floating cabinets are connected to brackets that need to be wall mounted.
The specific type of Husky cabinets I have only come in configurations, you can’t buy individual units. However Husky also has a similar type of cabinet which you are able to purchase separately as a single stand alone cabinet. This applies for Canadian Home Depot as far as I know. Having said that I’m not sure what style cabinets Home Depot sells in different countries, you may want to look at their website and see what works for you.
I’m not familiar with the heavy duty line but based on the specs I’m assuming it’s made from more slightly more durable steel than the standard ones and is able to hold more weight. The price difference is almost double it looks like.

What is the max height that you can hang the work bench connected to your standing cabinets?
At the highest setting the bench will be sitting at 42”.

I haven’t come across this issue myself so far, but if someone wants to break in they can do so very easily. The lock won’t stop them.

The delivery was free at the time and the truck never pulled up to the driveway it was parked on the street
Question: I can't push a 132" unit flush against the wall due to an electrical outlet. Can I have this unit 2-3 inches away from the wall?

The three middle top cabinets come with brackets you mount on the wall first and then you hang the cabinets on those brackets.
