Damn! Love this! As a former conventional army infantryman I am super proud of these soldiers. The Fernandez interview made me feel the same way. Thank you for this!
We did cry tho... When they got Doc V and Robinson... We made it back to base and then finally we cried right there on the LZ... because it was safe and because we could finally afford to do so...
I had to get my CO’s permission to get married when in the Air Force in 1976. She was an Airman too so she had to get her CO’s permission too. Didn’t need to get their permission to get divorced the next year.
Absolute legend! Great interview, close your eyes and listen...am pretty sure you can here McLovin joins the rangers and goes to Afghanistan to kick some arse.cheers!
Dave bringing up that scene from the HBO series Barry is great. @1:47:05 I never watched Barry in my life. But I've watched clips of that scene again and again.
All that being said about the “super SEALs,” let’s not forget that Extortion 17 was shot down when DEVGRU guys were on their way to help out a group of 75th Ranger guys. There may be rivalry, but it does seem at the end of the day like each unit had each other’s backs.
@@TheTeamHousePodcast hey look I’m not trying to start anything, I get the clashes, I get the rivalry, l that stuff, I was just saying that at the end of the day, it’s the same team and each group seems to be ready to throw down for the others.
I’m still scared of girls. I remember my first sexual experience - a dark winter night, a storm with lightning and thunder; in an old rickety barn and terrified. It’s shite being alone
I completely disagree with the statement that America lost the war. The American military did win the war with Afghanistan and kicked their ass. The politicians were the ones that screwed up. This is similar to Vietnam. We beat the north Vietnamese so bad that they didn’t have any troops from south Vietnam to Hanoi. So, north Vietnamese decided to make a piece treaty which allowed us to leave. Which by the way the north Vietnamese broke. Anyway that’s my two cents. Don’t believe the lie that we lost the war.

Jack does a great job keeping the conversation on point...in the fire fight....
I think the best i've seen and heard so far. Thanks Jack and Dave

The korengal was a man’s war. You had to be tough. My body has never been the same. Definitely chewed me up bad.
He needs to come back
Absolutely. Great guy
This was one of your best interviews. I look to reading Ray's book. I will pass on link to the interview.
Fort Wayne in the house!!
Very cool. Would like to see Ray on the show again. (2-75 bromance 😂😂)
What my grandma always said,
“If ya look good. Smell good. SHIT, someone gon’ like ya!”
Crazy to see my old Lt doing interviews on our day to day 🤯
Reading We March At Midnight now. Excellent book
Grand dad spent 30 months or so in Burma-China-India with the 10th Weather Squadron during WWII

@@MrCashewkitty my apologies, I didn’t know that. I wouldn’t blame that on the individual Team guys who lost their lives though.
You guys are doing an excellent job with these, I’m always very excited for the next one
Our chain of command had that order we couldn't get married without our CO blessing, due to contract marriages. Gotta love FT. HOOD.
Very illegal order, but hey as you said, gotta love FT. Hood. What a disaster that base was around 07-09.
A year down range sucks.I remember starting the war with Iraq. Many units in the first wave spent 18 months straight there.
Ya'll should have more conventional dudes on here.
Great episode, 👍👍👍
That was a damn good show amazing men, amazing stories, true heros! Much love yall!
Great interview.
Did the Lt. serve with a Captain Mccarten?

I love this show but why is Jack always in such a hurry? It seems like he is always annoyed and in a hurry to end the show.
See that notepad between Jack and Dave? They got a lot of shit to cover, he's just pacing
@@DJ-rc6ki Exactly this. Joey, if Jack didn’t keep us moving the show would go on for 6 hours because I am am terrible at managing our time. Lol
