- Part 3 (final) of a series on gettin gthis old Honda back on the road.
You have to love these old Hondas. They never die.
This particular bike has sat for some time now and a gentleman wanted to get it up and going again so his daughters can ride it.

Just got a CT 90 (someone's unfinished project) for my little brother to take to University. Your videos are really helping me get an understanding on how to restore it for him. Thanks a lot from a Californian living in Australia.
This was useful. Working on an all original 74. She is a beauty... but I have no spark. Working on troubleshooting it.
Excellent excellent educational and entertaining content. Very helpful for me as a first time CT90 owner. Just subscribed to the channel. I agree with a comment below, very underrated channel. I wish you were near me, I'd just hire you to do the work. You know this bike inside out!
Just today l found your channel, mostly because l just aquired a 1974 CT90 from a guy out here in west Texas. I am just starting in on this bike.
Chasing a "no spark" issue. Yours is the most informative channel regarding these old Hondas that l have found. Got a couple questions. First, is it true a capacitor can be used instead of a battery, I only ask because l already found out batteries don't last long in this heat. I am going to buy a new battery next time we get to Alpine. Second, can you give a quick list of the brands of parts you use when replacing electrical system components ? Even when l get this running, l will go ahead and replace everything so it is all new. Thank you and l am happy to have found your channel.
To answer yout questions...
Don't use a capacitor for a battery with these bikes. This is due to your ignition is powered from the battery. No spark is usually a bad battery and bad points. You also must have points adjusted correctly.
For parts head over to DrATV online. They will have everything you need. Good luck!
@@MotorcyclesandArt Thanks, l been outta touch a while but l did get it running and riding. Sealed 6vt battery, front tube and, even though l cleaned the carb and it ran, l got a new carb. Named it Dreamsicle...it's orange.
My dog, a Heeler, Aussie mix would be doing yhe same thing.
Please make full Engine assemble HondavS110

Organization is your friend.
Your channel is so underated, should have more subs than you got!
Wow, thank you. That seriously means a lot.
Any special way to keep the original plastic air box / frame cover from cracking ?? Just got a 1975 all original and want to keep it all OG !!
Just be easy on the old girl. Stoked you are keeping the milf original.
You do really great work. I have a pair of red 1970 Ct 90's I just bought. How does a person get in touch with you for getting them worked on ? Can you say on here where you're located ?
Thanks for the videos. I subscribed and hit the bell !
Thank you much! You can email me through my website www.motorcyclesandart.com
Your wicked where are you located
Any tips on getting rust off the painted parts?
Yes, mix up a 50/50 of water and Evapo-rust and soak your parts in it. Evapo-rust is paint safe but try at your own risk.
@@MotorcyclesandArt thanks. What about paint on the frame a swing arm? The rust isn’t bad enough to blast and repaint so I was wondering if you can something other than steel wool to suggest
Sand off the rust. Prime the spot and then spot paint it. There is some Krylon that matches perfectly.
Your mirror image threw me for a loop. I was thinking why the hell is the airbox on the right side with the outdrive, chain, etc. then I noticed Oh the image is flipped.
Like the video, don't like the dirty music.
