I vote for Visions Volume 1 reactions on UA-cam as well, would love to see you guys’ reactions to those episodes. Maybe my favorite thing about Star Wars Visions is that it’s not canon. Don’t get me wrong, I love everything in canon (yes, including all three of the sequels), but knowing Visions isn’t canon allows me to turn off the “larger story, how does all of this connect” part of my brain and just enjoy each episode for what it is, with “what it is” usually being fantastic.
This looks absolutely amazing! All of the different animation styles look incredible. I can't wait to see all these shorts. So beautiful. And, I'm very excited for all the fresh, new stories.

The first volume of Visions was dope. Some episodes were better than others, and I expect that will be the same for the second volume. The animation looks incredible, especially on that first one. Looking forward to Aardman's contribution, purely because I'm British and from Bristol, where they are based.

Man I love the Cartoon Salooon studios so much, you recognize them right away. I think their Secret of Kells and Song of the sea films are a must watch, they are the Irish Lion king !

I'm so excited for the Cartoon Saloon short. They worked on beautiful films like The Secret of Kells, Song of the Sea, Wolfwalkers and The Breadwinner. The styles are simplistic but are built from really strong shape language and influenced by Irish art and folklore/mythology. Highly recommend their stuff. I'm also excited for Aardman and Punk Robot's shorts as I'm a sucker for stop motion!!!
I know you guys never played the Halo games, but since Agustin mentioned The Animatrix, y'all might enjoy Halo Legends. Same concept as Visions and Animatrix, but in the Halo Universe, and I personally thought it was pretty awesome.

I'm really excited for this Volume of Visions. I grew up on Clone Wars and Rebels so SW Animation has a special place in my heart. I loved most Visions Vol1 and it looks like they're raising the bar here.

Contrary to some popular beliefs, the first season for the most part actually wasn't groundbreaking in terms of creativity or novelty. And I don't mean that in a bad way: it was a project about "What if the famous traditional anime stories, but in Star Wars?" and while it brought a breath of VERY fresh air to Star Wars, there's a difference between that and how creative Visions itself was. For example the droid boy becoming Force-sensitive is direct adaptation of Astro Boy combining with Star Wars elements, down to the boy's name. Which is why I believed season 1 was an experimental stage where, rather than go all out creative, they're playing safer and first try how a Star Wars anime would work, and if they do make a season 2 they'll then start probing into more daring fields. And from the trailers, it looks like that's exactly what's happening! I'm almost intimidated by the possibilities. And hopefully there will be not just a season 3 but a canon Star Wars anime series.
