Reading your comment response to someone else while watching & just want to first say CONGRATULATIONS! We’re under construction for our first home & using the VA Loan as well. I can definitely relate to having a husband who doesn’t “show” his excitement that much lol
Thank you so much, buying our first home has been a stressful, ongoing learning experience for us however it has been very rewarding nevertheless. My husband can be so in his ways at times but once he warms up around you or he's around family you see that other side. Where are you building if you don't mind me asking, like what state?

Any tips on closing or anything in general? My new build will be done in January.. and I just want this process over 😭💜🙏
Yaaay congratulations!! So exciting however I know it can be stressful at the same time. Not sure where you are in your process as far as closing and I can say every situation isn’t the same, we used VA Loan so it may be different. I would say communication is key so if there’s anything you don’t understand be very vocal and no question is a dumb question literally, make sure you get the true / bottom dollar number cost prior to closing and if that cost is fluctuating stay on top of those numbers when it comes to the interest rate you will be paying. Don’t make any huge purchases, be prepared to send updated bank statements to your loan service provider because the closer it gets they will want to know updated info about finances etc.. again I’m unsure where you are in your process but if you would like more details let me know 😊😉
