    Hello! Thank you for this demo, the result is gorgeous! ☺️
    If I may give back a tip, as for the salt, in my experience it is all about timing: if you use it when the paper is very wet, it won't work properly or at all and of course you won't get any effect if the water is (almost) gone. You need to wait for the paper to absorb some water and then when the sheen is still present but not so "glowy" that's your cue. 😉

    This is so pretty and delicate, Renata! This is from before I "discovered" you, but I was sending pictures of my paintings to a friend and a couple were feathers. She wants me to paint some for her to hang in her bedroom! So I looked through your tutorials and found your feather ones! She wants just black and white to match her decor, but I love the shape of this one and the texture - and of course, the splatter! (In fact, the ones I showed her had a bit of splatter and she mentioned that she liked it!) So although I love the colors in yours, I will adapt it with the colors she wants - thank you for this! By the way, I haven't finished watching your 2 videos from last week yet, so I haven't commented like I usually do 🥰but I heard at the beginning of one that you were sick - I really hope you are feeling better!😍

    Thank you Renata, for sharing. I was not able to paint since a few days... but I love feathers, and yours is the best watercolor feather I have ever seen, I guess mine won t be so perfect, but I will try. Can I say that, since your « return »

      I was saying, since your return, this is the first piece I feel doable for a beginner , the others were so perfect and so beautiful , they seem impossible to do now for me... well I knew you were a great artist...so thank you

    I am new to painting, 2 weeks ago I followed your - DIY Watercolor simple cards for any ocassion - easy
    Success, made the card for my daughters 40th b/day. Salt made it look great, my doodles were not brilliant but acceptable. Cannot wait to do the feather then more of your tutorials. ❤

    I,m using a different colour palette and having good results 🦩 You show great skill: knowing the perfect balance of contrast and colour and when the painting is finished. i am learning a lot. Thank you! 🐞

    The salt reacts great when you wet your paper and you have to wait till the water is almost gone, still with the sheen but not right after you apply the water. It Definitely depends on the time,

    Thanks for this real time video, I’d like to try it. Love the painting, your twiggy brush (I’m sure it is expensive so I’ll probably never have one in my hand) and your leaf palette. Do you make your own palettes? I wish I was still in my ceramics class making my own palettes.

      @@MarenaART Maybe you could do a video on making a clay palette? (If you want to…. Or maybe I’ll scroll through your videos and see if you already have one.)

    This is so beautiful Renata…..I love feathers. Is that the soft blue from the pastel palette or the rich blue?

    • @MarenaART
      @MarenaART  2 роки тому +1

      Neither. That is a new blue☺ I made. But you can definitely use blue from cozy.💙

      @@MarenaART I knew it! I was like: this looks different! It is beautiful 😍 I was looking again at the palettes and thought the one from pastel would also look nice….guess a new order is due :D
