Hey I thought my thermostat was the problem so I changed it out. Now that I'm seeing this video I know that it's the sensor. Do I still need to bleed the coolant although I just changed out my thermostat and new coolant was put in?
Hello . If I take it down does it leak a lot of antifreeze? Do I have to install it quickly or do I have to remove all the antifreeze before changing it? Thank you
Anyone know if this would be a logical first step for a U1408 code which says - “Invalid Data Received From Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor”? This is on a 2015 X3 5cyl
I have a 2008 bmw x3 but i have a brand new electic waterpump and the reservoir tank so i dnt understand why my light keeps coming on and off and my coolant is full
You never want to use torque spec that is not listed officially. Given they even warned not to over tighten it. Get a proper manual or check realoem for your engine and year

Do the x3 bmws have two sensors? One for the gauge ? One for the ecu? Or is just one?

Mines is too u might have to change the sensor anyway it could be going bad

What are the torque specs for this sensor? The video mentions finding them but I don’t see it in the description or the pinned comment.
