Even though it Alissa with TWO s, its pronounced A-lisa.... different than American. I heard her pronounce her name during interview with Charismatic Voice. Angela was FULL distorted..... I prefer Alissa because she has pitch and harmonic elements in her distorted vocals. There is ONE song I prefer Angela for is "Under Black Flags We March". For some reason, for me, Angela's style just fits that song better. The benefit of Alissa White-Gluz is that she can do amazing cleans, and her harsh vocals have melody, pitch, harmonics.... Angela was a "mentor" to Alissa, so the relationship is more than just "they knew each other". Alissa did nearly 100% distorted vocals in first several years of Arch Enemy to be true to their Fan Base. However, in last few years, starting with Eagle Flies Alone and Handshake with Hell, Alissa has starting putting in some (15-20%) clean vocals. I wouldn't mind 50/50 myself.
That was super cool as usual. I've seen Kamelot Live few years ago, Tommy is as good in live than in studio. Roy Khan was super good before, the spirit of the band but Tommy did a good job replacing him. I don't know if you already heard it, March of Mephisto is the top of their work (for me)
We're omnivores, not carnivores. I know, extremely topical comment to the point of the video, ain't it? lol But yeah, in reality we're "designed" to be able to consume both (health defects abstained, exceptions do not make the rule), and the commonality of _which_ we consume is age dependent -- meaning older we get the less "carnivorous" we are "designed" to be. We CAN live off of one of the other, though, but it's ill-advised to do so unless you're meticulous (such as those mentioned in the video).
Tommy is a very good Singer, but i lost the Band when Roy has left it. For me Roy was a very uniqe Singer and i like the older Stuff more. And i like the Stuff without female Guestsingers more. But that´s only my personal Opinion.

I will never understand why it should be necessary to shorten a well written and published song. This version is nothing more than incomplete. 😢
