I just happened to walk up from the back to see if we had any reservations coming in. Everyone always wants to sit in the front near the fireplace, so I was kinda dead back there, besides making my fellow servers their tables customers drinks. Anyway, he asked for a table, and bc we were a super small restaurant, we really didnt have any walk ins coming in on a holiday, only reserved tables (but we could always make exceptions for a table of 1) My hostess that day was pretty rude to him, and I felt bad for the guy, so I said, "I'll take you at the bar, Sir." I didnt hound him or ask him about Hollywood or anything, just treated him like a regular person. We talked about history, like about the park where I worked, bc it is really immersed in alot of that area of Philly & its colonial history, etc. He was so versed & knowledgeable about the most random things, it was impressive. He was even chatting up my other tables, just a very pleasant, genuinely nice dude. After he was finished, he asked for a pen. He signed the extra paper from his check really sweet, like Merry Christmas, thank you for wonderful service and treating me so great. I was floored. I still have it to this day. My point to this all is that when he speaks, i listen, and i believe him. Every word. Him & Katt, both.

What they're saying is very true and accurate. A white man being strong and steadfast is a perfect picture of masculinity but, a black man doing it is looked at as aggressive and a threat. Because these men have proven their comedic value without wearing a dress, so that's highly unnecessary. But, ignorance is bliss and with the added power of the dollar... It's moreso paradise. Smh. I couldnt believe it- he was the coolest, most well spoken, world traveled person I've ever met. Everyone was soo jealous that I actually got to serve him & hang out with him.
I didnt hound him or ask him about Hollywood or anything, just treated him like a regular person.

@carolthomas1066 Yes, thank you. One thing that is very important to me is my integrity. If money is more important than anything in your life, in that business you will compromise EVERYTHING. Even your loved ones to get ahead and that's just not me. I have quit or turned down several roles to uphold my integrity. I won't bend.
Yes yes yes the problem is that there is a real chase for money money is needed to survive but it doesn't have to strip you of you morals for when it does it's become your God stand up for your principles even if you stand alone
Good 4 u💪🏾
YES there’s an agenda!!!! God bless courageous men like Terrance Howard,Kat Williams, and Dave Chappelle. They’ve been willing to sacrifice their financial security for integrity. As a man, I value and respect my masculinity..Forcing black men to appear in drag is the latest form of buck breaking. Masculinity is a gift and should be treated and respected as one.
True, except Chappelle already did wear the dress, twice, and then didn't want to do it a third time.. but, yeah, everything else seems about right.
Thanks.
Eddie Griffin too
@@smoke8250 You're welcome, and there were already 40+ famous white actors that were forced to wear a dress too. So, it wasn't just forcing black men 🤷♂️
@@bigmon9187 I didnt know about Eddie Griffin, but that’s awesome.
YOU GOTS TO TELL EM NO! Ya gotta tell em no...
Thanks guys for standing your ground.
Katt has always used truth and made it hilarious. So much respect for him and Terrance, and Dave for standing up.
Stand and continue to Stand Terrance Howard and Katt Williams…Always MAN UP!!!!PERIODTTT
Sooooo Dave was cool with wearing a dress in the Princess Bride but after that it wasn’t cool? Why do these actors act like we have 0 memory?
It’s about time more men are standing up for their beliefs. If it isn’t a problem stop offering this as an option.
Good job covering this one. I can't tell you how many people attacked me for saying I agree wit Katt dave and Terrence
Not just black men, all men stay strong men.
AlL lIvEs MaTtEr
Could you imagine Elvis IN A DRESS 👗 NO so why DO THEY PUT BLACK MEN in ONE
Kudos to you Mr. Howard and Mr. Williams. “ We Must Stand for Something, or We Will Fall for Anything!”
You guys are Appreciated and Loved 💯💯💯💯❤️❤️❤️❤️
Yes, Aaron Tippin sang it. You Gotta Stand For Something or You'll Fall For Anything
It’s bad enough asking a man to put on a dress. It’s just pure sinister to punish him for not doing so. There are so many ways for a man to be funny. Why the dress? Hold on to that soul, ya’ll. It’s PRICELESS!
Thank you strong Black men for standing up.
It's true, yes, if you dance with them, you're in, and if you don't, they black ball you.
What they're saying is very true and accurate. A white man being strong and steadfast is a perfect picture of masculinity but, a black man doing it is looked at as aggressive and a threat. So, put him in a dress and call it "comedic value"... Smh. Any man, especially Black man, that agrees with that narrative is a part of the problem, having the sheeple mindset. Because these men have proven their comedic value without wearing a dress, so that's highly unnecessary. But, ignorance is bliss and with the added power of the dollar... It's moreso paradise. Smh. Katt and Terrance, salute brothers, keep your morals and values intact. All money isn't good money.
well spoken
@@parentingautisticchild3235would you two (both) geta grip: It is for comedic value - it's not done to hurt or emasculate anyone. And no, it's not seen as aggression. That is unless it really (is).
@damontate8932...You Hit the Nail Square on the Head! Thank you for that Power Speech! Some people think it's nothing to it! But it's "Literally" more than meets the eye! 💯
This is also true for white women playing "super woman" in a lot of movies and TV shows. Pay attention to some of your favorite shows, and you will see it as well. After Black men are becoming less masculine, white women are becoming more masculine. And there you have it, a match made in heaven.
Unless you've got plenty if money yourself, you can't call this bad money. Nobody means it like you're twisting to be. It's not even them (the comedians/actors) "proving" themselves. You need to wake up, . it's 2024, . stop playing g the race card.
SHOUTOUT TO THE REAL MEN THAT STAND THEY GROUND ❤❤❤❤
Most Definitely… I Salute Terrence… A superb brother and Actor… Keep your Integrity!!!… All darkness and hidden agendas Will come to be Exposed!!!
I guess you forgot he appeared on, worked in and agreed to be in EMPIRE, the gay-est show in TV history...."Integrity?" Where?
@@dlxinfinite7098 he didn't put on dress on nor did he kiss a man.Terrance wants to quit Hollywood he went on television and said this, and I pray he does . Hollywood is being used by Satan to have you disrespected God what is in the holy Bible .Many don't even understand this we all have to be judged by our actions and words we say help humanity Jesus.
Men in dresses can be funny, look at Mrs Doubtfire. But an actor should be able to refuse a role without being penalised for it.
