97s, Air Max 1s, even the new high 85s and certainly these OG 2 of 2022 all need that sleek toebox to get right on par with the OGs, I dont really know why they cant seem to get it down but I was still excited to grab the 2s especially for retail, you know how things are.
I used to have that same exact print of MJ slam dunk but on a crew neck sweater. I wished JB would consider retro some clothing apparel in the near future.

I was able to get these. I love that these are as closest to the original as they could possibly be. But part of the history of this show is that it is not loved by all. I love that I have them in my collection, but no matter how I try I just can’t love the overall look of them. Directly from the back they look terrible imo. Gets skinny at the bottom instead of that hour glass look of the Jordan 1. The collar is too puffy on this shoe. the side view from a distance looks like it has a heel because of the color change from white to red. It just missed the mark a bit in what they wanted to achieve. But again that dislike for the look of this shoe by many people is part of its history. It’s still the 2nd shoe he wore and he averaged 37.1ppg in the Jordan 2, won the dunk contest with them and dunked from the free throw line in them etc. this is the best color way of the 2. Certain angles of this color way look good but overall it just failed a bit in the looks department imo.
I really dig the AJ 2s but they did miss the mark on some stuff. Especially the toe box. My right shoe has such a banana curl to it its ridiculous. Og runs flat and sleek, also the leather is pretty average. JB using nicer tumbled leather but full grain we just haven't seen many pairs really that great and always coating it thick with poly seal
I'm suprised you didn't point out on the 4 eyelets that look similar to the Air Jordan 3's, all of the 2000 retros of the air jordan 2, don't have holes behind them.
I've mentioned that before in other videos with the interchangeable parts nike used on many models. Plenty of info I try not to be redundant on each video.
Man I’ve worn these nearly daily since release. I didn’t even think I needed these asap, but once I put them on my feet, instant love.

How did they break in after 4 months? Would you suggest TTS or half size down for a snug 1:1 comfy fit? Thanks!
