For anyone asking or on the fence,the Air Jordan 1 only came out in 1985,so even if Nike or JB brand has remade them,they are replicas..so don't be so hard on these gems,live a little and don't deny yourself these beautifully crafted well put together air Jordan 1 1985's.. ✌️👍

Thank you themselves if they're Oggy released are not even following no blueprints anymore for the 1985 Air Jordan 1 so you're actually getting poorly designed reps from Nike Air Jordan 1 OG version it's nothing like the 1985

It’s nice having a “backup” pair to my original 1985 chicagos. I’ve not been a fan of Nike’s Jordan 1s in quite some time. The shape on my boring pair are great. Excited for the shadows!
Cool man, yeah retro 85 is best as they've done. They are decent but favor this shape overall and other custom makers

Those look great. Was deciding if I wanted those or the regular non PE version with the white tongue they stated would be coming in the future. Looking forward to his Shadow greys though.
I love this review man absolute awrsome shoe. Honestly i never understood how the hell everyone thinks these brands are gonna give us premium leather on a sneakers from Nike. They literally give us the same leather on almost every single shoe and it will not change unless they are feeling generous like the SBB. There a guy Rose Anvil that reviews Nikes and he is a leather worker and basically said most Nike/AJ stuff is all the same
Yeah man, I totally agree with the leather Nike uses. Not very often am I impressed with leather they've been using. Thanks for watching, love the consistency and improvements DB are making.
@@ogorbust1697 Np brother channel is the best. Yeah as long as they don't go back to the thick coated PU leather like the 2020 fire red and shjt like that I am okay especially with the Militarys I actually don't mind that leather reminds me of the AJ1.

I bought this exact pair from DB right after watching this review. Excellent work man! Love this channel! I won't be getting the reimagined BTs this fall anymore, methinks. And if I can cop the DB aged breds in my size then I probably won't get the 85 breds next year either.
I’ve been enjoying the developer boring pairs more than my Nike retails. The shape, quality and comfort are just better. That thick poly insole they include with the shoe should be mandatory on all 1’s. Sooo comfortable.
They really are remarkable for all aspects, comfort quality, shape and down to the price. Love what they're doing.

They don't look bad, but I don't like everything about them. Compared to viberemakelab to boring they look a bit handicapped 😅
Just the price, the VRL is $660 with shipping a boring $236. That's quite a difference.
I'm very happy with this release, still not perfect to OG but they keep making improvements. Overall the sneaker just looks great and they make them comfortable. I do like VRL as well, just kinda pricey and I've ordered some pairs from them. For now 600+ I'd just want higher quality thick cut leather. Both makers though I do enjoy and favor certain details on both, price and all.. lol

This is the most updated shape. They've gone through multiple changes since the Chicago 1s first release.
Next colors are the black toes with the white tongue and the royals

Overall, I like the leather better on DB. Price point is much better too. VRL I dig their products though, tongue tag shape and high cut. I'll actually showcase 3 customs and retro 85 by JB soon with a pickup of burgundy metallic

i can’t do it, i can’t buy a rep but jordan brand is moving so slow with 85 colorways. and i always lose raffles having to pay resale. these however are nice 💔☹️
Nothing to be ashamed of really when DB VRL and HVND are making better replicas of the original than the brand. Great work is just that, great work.
One argument made by Weartester’s Chris that convinced me to give these a try is that Jordan isn’t making retros with the same materials, molds, patterns, or craftsmanship, nor are they using the original factories and manufacturing equipment. So there’s really not much materiel difference between these and what Jordan makes, besides the official imprimatur. Also, we can’t be 100% certain the Space Jam 11 lows we’re buying tomorrow morning weren’t made by Uighur child laborers, so there’s also that…

Standard retro 1 yes, retro 85 there is things I like about both, about even. These are cheaper though.. leather consistently nicer too.

Definitely, as I mentioned in the video I wore the black/red for 10+ hours and it was great first wear

Nice quality fakes. You cant rip off a shoe 1 to 1 and try to call it a custom. There's nothing custom about these lol. Just a straight up replica aka fakes.
@rellt5498 you can call it what you like but HVND VRL and DB are doing great things recreating the sneakers like they were made in the 80s and yes, better than JB has done.
