TV Comes North: Bradford

Join us at Pictureville Cinema, National Science and Media Museum, Bradford, on Thursday 19th January 2023 for the next in our series of TV Time Machine screenings. Charting the history of television in the North, from first broadcasts to award-winning documentaries and regional news output, this specially curated event brings the small screen to the big screen. From pioneering programming and famous faces to kids saying the funniest things, join us on a journey through television in the North.
With local TV content focusing on Bradford and its surrounds-including much-loved images from the 1976 Yorkshire Television ‘Bradford Godfather’, regional news features from YTV Calendar and BBC Look North, and early footage of the museum-there's something for everyone to tune into.
