- Here's a comparison between the Moto G85 vs CMF Phone 1!
In terms of design, CMF Phone 1 has a unique customisable design while G85 offers a standard and premium design. Plus, it's much lighter.
When it comes to the display, it's a 120Hz OLED panel on both the phones, curved on Moto and flat on CMF but G85 has an advantage with Gorilla Glass 5 protection and it also has Dolby Atmos stereo speakers which makes a big difference.
For the processor, the Dimensity 7300 on CMF is much more powerful than 6s Gen 3 on Motorola. This also makes a difference in HDR playback and 4K video recording.
If cameras are your priority, the G85 has a much better camera setup with OIS, an additional ultrawide camera and even a better selfie camera.
On the software front, both the phones are pretty good but HelloUI on G85 is more feture rich compared to NothingOS.
Lastly, both phones come with 5000 mAh battery but G85 gets a charger in the box, and CMF, nothing!
G85 is an overall better phone with its only limitation being the processor.

@@aadithyabraj1376 I don't care for Updates but as a user of Motorola Edge 50 Pro, I can clearly say that they give less updates but fix almost all issues at once.
Like in camera, there was some lag, now they fixed it with an update, and the only lag now is in 4K video recording.
Only the software and update is the worst side of it

Processor isn't everything bro. It's about how your processor performs. 4.80 lakh and 5.4 lakh , you will see very less difference, on paper moto has everything and you forgot that cmf doesn't have charger, it will increase price
That's the problem with Indian market, they only pay attention to processor, anyone with some actual knowledge knows how much importance processor deserves and what a clean software is worth of, realme and iqoo people won't get it....

7300 is a really power efficient processor , pair it with a well optimized software u r gonna get long term phone. Now if u r a careful owner the phone is gonna last.

Been using moto g84 with 695..never faced any lag whatsoever. Only 4k not supported. And I don't think people use 2gb per day internet to watch only 4k videos in UA-cam.😊

Wish they gave a better processor in the g85. It would have enabled 4k recording which is a deal breaker sometimes. Ig this was done to divert the customers to the edge 50.

Bruh , cmf have amoled and supports HDR wayy more smoothly , and CMF camera can record video/timelapse in 4k 30 fps but motorola is only capable of 1080p 30fps with shitty light control , in photography motorola is slightly better if human subject but cmf does nature photography good to , potraits also well taken in cmf , software exp is not even comparable bruh , cmf is a clear winner with smoothest nothing os , its feels premium to hold such smooth and premium phone under 16k like CMF...even reparing and customer service of cmf(nothing) is way cheaper in cost and good , way better than motorola...
On paper moto is clear winner, cmf design is just a gimmick and also no charger
No 4k playback on moto made me drop it or else it would have been best at its price.

I own both and while I enjoy what Nothing is doing with their uniqueness, the g85 murders the CMF in everyday use. The chipset is not as "low end" as people make it out to be

Are you going to game a lot?If that is the case, the only time I experienced any issues is playing Genshin with high settings. Otherwise keeping it in moderate graphics the game eins smoothly. Also in daily activities I have had ZERO lag. I use the phone for majority of the day doing things like Map Navigation, video calling and photography daily. Battery life is great. What more can you ask for?

G85 can handle all that and more. 6s Gen 3 is a lot more powerful than 695. All the idiots that claim they are the same processor are nothing more than fools. It's an upgraded version released recently
It al depends what you are using it for , I bought g85 3 weeks ago and I am satisfied with it , it runs smoothly no lags so far , there are no network problem, charging speed is good too and I don't use it for gaming, i have more of a habit of using it with my laptop and this phone is great in maintaining ecosystem files get transferred within short amount of time , can be controlled by any other laptop device , it's just for me
If only Motorola had the same processor... I would have gone for that no question but processor is more important for me...

I have been convinced that I cannot take a bad photo with this phone. Even in selfies, I used to think I looked bad only in selfies somehow, even though I looked fine in Rear Camera, this phone made me realise for the first time it was the Camera that was the problem 😅😅😅😅
In lowlight I took a picture, and the only little source of light was my laptop screen, and somehow, it felt like a bulb was turned on, illuminating the entire room, that's how good it is.

there isn't much of a use case scenario for curved display except for it's premiumness,
but it costs a heck lot to repair, even applying screen guard is a hassle.
so, in conclusion curved display doesn't offer much except premiumness but has a lot of downs to it

Every phone is boring these days. I have been using g82 for two years. It works. Camera sucks. But moto improved their camera by a big margin. I used my brothers edge 50 pro and it is having a massive difference compared to edge 40 pro. Edge 40 pro looked like shit in camera performance.
