Hi! I love your channel and your videos :) I both the kit 2 years ago and tried the motor only this year. At first it did not want to load the battery, but it did in the end. The second time it did not. It was reading 16.2 V and not charging. I tried to trickle charge it by connecting it + to + , - to -, to a 22v battery. I think the short circuit broke it instead of bring it back to life. When I connect the battery the green led goes dark. Sorry for the long description, but I want to fix it for my kid. Any advise ? Danke.
Green light goes dark normally happens when the battery is full. 16.2V means 2.7V per cell. This is very close to a sure kill of the cells. Go and buy a 36V Hoverboard battery from Al for some 30 bucks.
Thanks for putting together this great tutorial and also explaining some of the technical details on the battery!
Great mod to get info about the battery. Thanks
