Hi Bandit and Jake. Thanks to you Jake I love sanrenmu. I have gifted quite a few , love to gift the 910+ but have gifted other models as well. All the sanrenmu knives I have gotten have been nearly flawless fit and finish , a couple of the smaller ones were slightly off center but all the medium and large ones were perfect. Sanrenmu make some incredible knives. My favorite had got to be the 9008. They do a great job.
I've had my 1161 since February and I still love it. It has great action once you clean out the goop they put in the pivot
Mine is very clean, no goop. But that does happen sometimes. I take apart every knife I buy and clean them all, just to be certain they are the best they can be.
That 1161's what I'm gettin' too. Zombie slayer there.

What happened to gearbest? They don't ship knives to Holland anymore. You still order knives there?
I do still order from them, but not as much as I used too do.
Their shipping issues is one of the main reasons I do less shopping there. There have been 2 times in the last 3 years when they stopped shipping knives to Canada too, and then a few months pass and they start again. That behaviour doesn't bring confidence to consumers.
That last one sure looks a lot like a Ruike. I wonder if someone snuck across the SRM/Ruike/Real warehouse in the middle of the night and swiped some parts.

It's been awhile since a SRM unboxing. I like slip joints also but, 421.70+ is kinda steep.
