Idk. They weren't going to pay Monique anything to go on a tour promoting the movie.
Soooo..... I dont know if thats normal practice or not. But clearly some how it hurt Monique deep down inside.
And thats sad. But, its also sad that the producers and Monique couldn't find or figure out a way to pay her for the tour or figure a way for her to profit from the tour.

Whoopi is right. An actor is supposed to promote the movie. It comes with the job. She refused so the industry saw it as a problem they didn't need. Her offer at Netflix is fair. She hadn't done anything in a while because of that whole drama. She really needs to humble herself and get out of victim mode. Smh.

I'll be the first person to say that Mo'Nique Imes-Hicks has lost her damn mind when it comes to hanging on to a 16 year beef with some of the top African-American names who made her a big screen sensation & allowed her characteristics to get the best of her in deciding to destroy her acting career in the process.
Maybe she just has to remind everyone of the kinda trash she had to deal with. Especially not only Monique but the pregnancy outburst when she definitely wasn't.

While a pregnancy only lasts during the course of a 9 month period in the process.
