Hi Penny & Dad- cute review! I’m the same way, I ALWAYS smell the milk first. 🤢😂 I’m not a McDonald’s fan, but I enjoyed the review. My favorite pie 🥧 is pumpkin 🎃 So happy to hear that Dr. Danielle gave dad “a clean bill of health.” Have a great weekend Penny. Sending love to you & dad. ❤️🤍💙

I still remember Hoepners bakery in my hometown of Eau Claire Wisconsin along with the discount bakery - The smell of Hostess bread baking and going to the discount bakery - I think it was 4 loaves of bread for a dollar or 25 cents each - I would stop sometimes after school for the hostess apple pie and the banana flip sponge cake Enjoy your coffee dad and here is a ((hug)) for the both of you - Take Care God Bless
@@cosmiccountrygirl179 I love discount bakery shops. Where I use to live there was a discount Wonder bread shop. I'd go there all the time for bread and bagels and goodies.

Happy Friday Penny & George! We love McDonald’s in our house. I got really excited when they had the Mac sauce in the cup like the other dipping sauces but yeah they stopped. At least we can still get it on the side. My son is always interested in what toys are in the happy meals . He didn’t care to much about the crocks but I think they are super cute! He loves to get the happy meal when they bring out the Halloween buckets. Those are fun. And Penny I’m one of those people, I can drink coffee with any meal 😂! So I’m with your dad on that one - my dad would drink coffee with everything too - maybe I got that from him - but I love it 😂! Love your laughter and banter - you two literally make my day ! Okay - have a great rest of your day and I’ll see ya tomorrow! P.S. I love those pies ! I’m the girl who will go to McDonald’s just for a pie 😂! I know - it’s so bad but sometimes it’s much needed ! We have glasses right now in canada they cost 3.99 with a meal there are four different kinds out right now i have a daughter in law that collects them

That pumpkin and cream cheese pie sounds great. I'm not sure I've seen them yet. But my literal ALL TIME FAVORITE is the custard pie! They used to have them every year around Christmas. I'm not sure if they sell them anymore. 🤔

Black coffee with a filet of fish sandwich is so great. Now I want one bad. I'm with your dad with the black coffee with everything. Then I have a cup of ice tea. But coffee with the fish sandwich is so really great. Let him have a fish sandwich with black coffee the next time. There are things that you do to your sandwiches that don't sound or look good to me. Not picking and saying as respectfully as possible but ya know. Just let him have his choice of things please. Your lucky that he is still around in this world. Covid was a killer for alot of people. If you catch my drift.
@@kayleigh354 Oh I did restrict his order. He got what he wanted. He changed his mind when he remembered he loved their quarter pounders. I read the sandwiches off and he made his own choice.

remember when McDonald's used to have the coke glass collection? when i first started my company i was struggling with money, so i went in for a happy meal because it was cheaper and the old bitty at the counter wouldn't sell it to me because i didn't have a child with me, that was in the late 80's

I would only eat at McDucks for 1 reason To get the croc. We raise beef, good beef, their beef patties are mushy. Tasty mush

Hello George and Penny 😺😊. Well your dad got my favorite from McDonald's, the quart pounder with cheese. Except I don't like pickles on my burgers. Maybe putting the ketchup on the fries themselves would be easier for your dad. That way he doesn't have to feel around for it. Just a suggestion. Enjoy your weekend and God Bless you 🙏.

I used to love getting happy meals as a kid, my fav was going at halloween and getting the pumpkin pail🎃 I later purchased the pumpkin pails from McDonald's at a thrift store. It would be cute for you guys to get a halloween happy meal when the new pails come out, I think on October 17th

Really enjoyed your video as usual, fun_ to_ watch! Back in the early 60's at school, (elementary), they kept a machine in the hall..full of small cartons_ of white and chocolate milk. Enjoyed the chocolate milk, was always so icy_ cold_ and delicious, especially after coming in from the playground on a hot day! Seems like our Junior high and high school did'nt have milk machines, probably because they had cafeterías. At our grammer school, we either had lunch together we brought from home, in_ our classroom or walk home at soon for lunch and back or eat lunch at the Palace drug store. Good old days! 💙
@@deborahalviso9408 Those were the good old days. I remember in my elementary school they had this chest type frig full of the little milk cartons in plastic crates. Like you said it was icy cold. Loved that. Great memories.
So Beanie Babies and the transformer type toys. Many years ago. A burger was a transformer, hotcakes were a transformer. And they also had Super Mario toys. *and in addition, I have all the batman glasses! They're amazing.

I don't like that cream stuff they put in the pies now so I haven't had their pumpkin pies for several years. Around Christmas time they have the Holiday Pie that's very good. It's the only McDonald's pie that I get anymore. I agree, the pies are smaller.
PS, in the last video you said your dad used to like Rax. I forgot to tell you that there's still a Rax restaurant in Lancaster and one in Circleville.

Back in '77 Mcdonalds came out with Star War glasses . I collected the complete set and they sat for years and years collected some real dust. I never thought Star Wars was going anywhere and threw them out. I could have sold them on Ebay. We finally got Steak, egg, and cheese bagel sandwiches a favorite of mine years ago. Took long enough. So many places you eat at we don't have. We do have Marcos pizza one mile away.

I forgot to say something. I had a friend do the same thing but with chocolate milk, so now I do what you do . Smell it first then small swig. Also usually when you order a senior coffee it's just less than what a regular is for non seniors, not free. That pie does look good but cream cheese? Anyway I think that Walmart has good mini pies in the bakery section. If you haven't tried them yet.

Hay did you know McDonalds salt and peppers their burgers? Next time ask fer an extra hamburger patty on the side and try it alone. They sure do. I sometimes just get 2 patties and thats dinner. All protein. Their good.

Cute little Croc. I thought it was a little charm to attach in the holes of Crocs shoes they were giving in the meals. Years ago I got Happy Meals all the time. I saved the toys & sold them for 25 cents at my Yard Sales. It made so many children happy & something they could purchase with a quarter. When I stopped having sales still had totes full. I donated to a church for their Missions trip to Haiti. I hope they made it there. I'm wanting to get the October Halloween buckets in October Happy Meals. I couldn't drink Chocolate Milk as a child or Chocolate Candy only White Chocolate due to the chronic kidney ailment I had & special diet. Thankfully I no longer have any kidney problems. They had said I would be on medication for a lifetime. The very best Chocolate Milk is Krogers it's delicious. Try it especially when it's on sale.
My parents drank coffee & always with their meals. Dad did drink a glass of milk every evening with his supper though.
