You know how Microsoft was forced to separate out File Explorer from Windows Explorer? Google should be legally forced to separate the FRP lock by default, thus allowing users to choose NOT to log in as Google account holders!

Try different approaches until you get to the Settings. Getting there varies from phone to phone - and especially depending on the keyboard layout. But once you get to the settings, you pretty much have it sorted out.
Except the help and feedback button doesn't work.

By your instructions I tried to go to the google keyboard, but by mistake, (a little bit confused from so many attempts and tutorials I've been through today), instead of spacebar, I pressed the middle button on the cellphone and so immediately got some previous screens, including the google search engine, I typed the word "settings" and the settings icon appeared... Next I've done everything by your instructions and now my cellphone is again like a new :)

I put my Email and password in like so, then a message prompts at the bottom quickly say; Please sign in using one of the owner's accounts.. etc.. How do I get rid of that crap.. Wow amazing your video helped and will work I had to do mine a little but different because I did not have the google keyboard option but watching your video got it to work! Thanks a lot. My phone didn't have Google Keyboard. I was able to access the search app by introducing any text in the email address field, then highlighting it , and selecting the Google Assistant.

Using an Alcatel Fierce 4 and when I click the settings icon, Google Keyboard Settings does not appear. Any help?
Just found a fix for those who don't see the Google Keyboard Settings. Type something into the bar and select the text. Then click and hold on the icon in the very bottom of the keyboard and it'll bring up a search page, then you can resume following this tutorial.
