Did anyone notice that Ted Knight the cartoon narrator, was also the voice of Johnathan Kent, "Mr. Secretary"/General, and the radio announcer? He played Ted Baxter on the Mary Tyler Moore Show. Also, there is no Krypto in the opening? As a child, I would watch for Krypto to see if it was a Superboy or a Superman cartoon.
Actually, there are episode openings with Superboy and Krypto crashing thru the Brick Wall together with the routine explosion . Type in "Revolt of Robotville " by cabailada. Here on UA-cam, you will see the SuperBoy and Krypto entrance at the beginning.💥💥
@@Dakers11 Yes, that's it! I checked these out from the library about 10 years ago, and all the Superboy with Krypto intros were replaced with Superman. Also, when shown on TV, they would not show the intros, so I haven't seen this since maybe the 1960s! In this cartoon, and in many others, I remember it driving me crazy that sometimes they would call robots "robuts" -- but, it's proper pronunciation.
No Superboy cartoons from the '60s on DVD or Blu-ray! The only ones we see on UA-cam are edited versions of them on "The Superman/Batman Adventures", which aired on USA back in the mid-'90s! 😪😪😪😪😪😪
This should have been on vhs or DVD years ago i have the adventures of Superman and the justice league the teen titans hawk man the flash the atom and the green lantern on DVD 3 episodes of each show and they are all on UA-cam.
All we get is the live-action version from 1988 on Tubitv! We want the original 1960's Superboy cartoons on Tubitv, so Warner Bros. Entertainment and the Jerry Seigel estate can end their conflict over who owns the cartoons!
@@christopherjudge1138 Although The New Adventures of Superman has been released on DVD, the sets do not include the Superboy shorts because of a battle between Warner Bros. and the estate of Jerry Siegel over the rights to the "Superboy" name that occurred at the time. The series remains unreleased to DVD.
The youth of steel.
