Thanks and yes I agree about the music lol I got rid of it in my latest video.. copyright option on UA-cam are limited lol.. so I plan on just doing away with the music for the most part.. thanks again for watching I appreciate it!
Yeah that's actually not that hard to do. I did it with a 1994 4Runner. I cut it behind the back door and at the bottom of the rear side windows. Then took the top half of the hatch back and pushed it forward behind the rear doors. It was a good looking rig when I was done.
Honestly the only thing I'm not liking so far is the fact that you took that perfectly good cab with like no rust in it and cut it up when someone else could have used it for their project and you could have went and bought a shity rusty one to do what you're doing
Thanks. I appreciate you watching. Hopefully i can make it somewhat more entertaining.. I'm not to sure if I'm doing it right or wrong lol.... I have no schooling/training I'm just doing it the way I think it might work best and still be affordable..
@@moonlightcustom Mon I appreciate your build people don't realise it's that satisfaction you built your own truck, there is no wrong or right way it's your way of getting to your finish line. Shire every one says there crew cabs already made but you had your suburban and your making your own truck. It's been done with 1968-72 suburban. Sqaure body no I haven't seen one done.
@@snoopu2601 Thanks man.. I love to build my own trucks. Anyone can just go buy one. But some people don't realize that they stopped making this style crew cab around 1987 and they never made one in a short bed half ton 4x4. So that being said realistically you would not be able to buy this exact truck. I'm just hoping to inspire people to step outside the box.
@@DMACHOLMAN lol.. help would be nice sometimes. I just installed my Challenger 10k lift so things should get easier. I did not realize how much time is used just moving a camera around and editing everything! Lol... I really appreciate you taking your time to watch me. It's a lot of work to record everything and if it wasn't for people like you watching it I wouldn't be doing all the extra work lol so thank you! 😃
I think he's doing because he has a great running suburban, I did have a friend's brother in law make one out of a 4 door crew cab long bed, he cut the chassis down to make a short bed fleetside Chevy sqaure body. This was over 20 year's ago. His wife still drive's it to do and still looks great for as many year's it's been on the road. He painted white so low maintenance.
To my knowledge They never offered a half ton 4x4 crew cab short bed from 1973-1987. From what I can remember it was mainly one ton long beds and most were 2wd dually.
@@DegenerateFabricators fer real just all the parts are $$ these day's. I was pricing parts just about every where you can find parts for sale to the average person looking for parts cost a whole lot of money. If you can find a whole running sqaure body truck/suburban even better. Looks like most of it is costing him his time on a low budget build and going to look cool. I seen people write that they are not impress with his build because they see them. In reality there is not that many around unless they are seeing them on UA-cam or at a truck show. At least I don't see them everyday here in California bay area or in Northen California and a 4x4 drive most of one's I've seen are lowerd.
A friend of mine's brother in law made a short bed fleet side he cut the chassis down used a 4 door long bed. This is another way to do it using a suburban.
For a one man show 👍🏽you are doing a great job getting it done. This is not an easy job at all. Add some extra support metal on your welds just in case the frame shifts around by driving it your going to be using it as a truck.
I think it would have been cooler if he made it into like an avalanche style where the bed has no Gap in between the cab and the bed it's just all one body with no seam in the middle between the cab in the bed.
Just a bit of advice as someone that views your content and so many other custom car guys. 1) sound quality…. Too low at this part, too loud the next, just right after and too low again then noisy 2) fast track through some of the slower work. 3) keep doing you. That’s my opinion and dissing you in anyway just commenting on my experience watching and love everyday guys doing krazy stuff with vehicles that most wouldn’t even think about doing. Positive 1) ability/know how…. You seem very capable and able 2) vision of the project…. Great creative idea Good luck too you bud. I’ll sub
For one man doing everything thing alone on this build you really nailed it. Thanks for sharing your content.
Nice build thanks for sharing! Want see the end design and buildout. Thanks
Thanks I appreciate you watching and the all the support.
Cool! Cool! You earned my subscription bro! A short bed crew cab! 4x4 even! It doesn't get much better! Can't wait for the next video 👍
Thanks I appreciate it working on the next one now lol editing..!!! As we speak.
For just using a Lincoln welder not to bad immaculate build I'd say!
Excelente trabajo.
Awesome build!
Nice work. I did the same with mine, still a work in progress years later.
Dang that suburban was to good and clean to do that to!😢 cool build tho!👍
I'm not going to lie man that music was a little much however you killed it on the content kickass job dude for sure!!!
Should dually swap it eh 🤣😂

One man assembly line. Well Done
How's the Title going to reflect the current configuration of the project????
The Law might have Questions of the changes???
When it's finished I will have a builders title made for it.
Now he can also build a 2 door tahoe withe cab and back half!
Hell ya man! Wanting to do this to a 80’s Toyota 4Runner! Making it a quad cab short bed pickup!!

This build is great. And he’s doing it by himself. Major project.
Looking good 👍👍

Thank you i appreciate the positive feed back.
This would have been an excellent opportunity to build a mega cab Chevy .
I thought about doing that.
Of course I'm not doing the work and can't assist you. I'll just keep watching you get stuff done...

This is exactly what I did. Look up DannyO mega cab 7.3 that’s my build thread.
You know that they made crewcab versions in that model square body rite

At that point you just buy one. This is rare and not like an avalanche

It would be possible..

Thanks. It took me a while to commit to doing it because of the condition the suburban was in. Lol
