Time to raise a toast to our generous host
    Jarisleif!
    Jarisleif!
Ruler of the Rus from coast to coast
    Jarisleif!
    Jarisleif!
May beer flow as long as we can stand on two
All the pretty girls come keep us warm
Tonight we drink, no room for depressing thoughts
    Fill your horns!
    HEY! HEY!
    HEY! HEY! JARISLEIF!!
    RAH!
    GO!
    (Russian lyrics)
    Vittu Saatana Perkele!
    RAH!
    (More Russian lyrics)
    La La Lai...
    LA LA LAI LA LAI...
    HU!
    LAAAAAAAAAAI!
    HEY!

...Then, the last night turisas was on stage,I was there, and Mathias says something like: "get the cameras away, only for this song you going to get fucking crazy! this is IN THE COURT OF JARISLEIF!"... after that I cannot remember anything....

I guess she played herself then, when she played A minor

apparently her college teacher was almost speechless when she asked Netta what she'd done during the summer and she replied touring with a band called Turisas.

The opening melody alternates 5/8 and 6/8 (or, it is in 11/8 if you prefer), the people (sort of) clap in 3/4 or 4/4 which fits after a couple of repetitions.

Folk metal at its best, the level of musicianship is impeccable. Im a power metal and prog metal guy, but this stuff is incredible. to mix metal, fusion time signatures, and the eastern european scales is amazing. last but not least to play complex music at nearly 200 BPM is truly musicianship not of this earth. TURISAS ROCKS!!!!!!!!

This is true, if you listen closely, you can hear Tude's bass drum going at about 4/4, I think the crowd is most following along with the bass drum.

It's a folk song called "dark eyes", I really wish they recorded it, they do the same thing at the beginning of sahti warri, except it's just Netta and Olli jamming out some polka music.

It's not really by anyone, as far as I know, it's just a traditional folk song.
