Holy crap, great video.
I would be extremely interested in different ways one can make bass sounds in bitwig, using different devices etc. Would be a cool idea. :)
excellent idea! noted
@@PolarityMusic Hey cool, thanks for the reply! :)
As a guy who just bought bitwig a week ago switching from Cubase I really need to thank you for this. Much faster learning than watching tutorials that teach every basic step. Thank you for this!
came here a year later to say the exact same thing!
dude insane same here. and I love cubase but for production Bitwig is million times better for my creativity and work flow. Super happy I made the switch last week
Agree! When I want to learn something new in electronic music these days I don’t search for tutorials anymore. I’ll just go straight to ‘start to finish’ videos like this. Five times the learning in half the time = ten times more useful :)
I knew Bitwig could make DnB, it just has that sound. Amazing work.
Watched almost to the end.
"You have a problem bringing the listener up to speed" XD oh boy I laughed.
Great and very enlightening video, thank you.
Wow, perfect timing. I've been making progress on my first dnb track and learning Bitwig this week.
Watched the whole thing. Great stuff, def looking forward to the next one. Much better than some of the "walkthroughs" posted after the fact on youtube.
Gracias Maestro Polarity , es un gran honor que hagas este video en directo. Gracias y muy inspirador , con toda la energia de vuestra creaciòn.¡¡¡¡
:D
So viel gelernt! Vielen Dank fürs Hochladen!
53:54 btw in XO you can load the selected sample by clicking the left pointing arrow to the right of the drum slot.
This is an Epic tutorial. I learnt loads!! Thanks
Your space bar sounds like a percussion :D
awesome tut!
Hey, around 21:50 you copy the drums with CTRL pressed?
When I do that and then delete a note, it also deletes the one linked to it (from the original) and stranger yet if I want to place a note then it puts in doubles or whatever amount you copied over! Maybe I should not use CTRL drag to copy? Or how do I change its behaviour?
Thanks.
How do I get your Drum Shaper preset? Thx
Thank Polarity!
Very nice, thanks!
Thanks for this tutorial!
46:09 how did you add that fx layer so quick, looks like a shortcut?
8:30 using note receiver and note filter on the synth kick track would filters the kick note from the source midi track and not have to edit 2 bass drum lines each time, right?
1.) ctrl + G = group
2.) yes but sometimes setting up stuff is more work, then nudging 2 notes around. and most of the time i dont change anything afterwards
Hey Polarity, forgive me for asking a silly question but I was just wondering how do I get hold of "pkick, psnare" and also your mudpie tools?

Polarity Music ok...hold my beer
thank you
I love your Psnare.. I was curious what fx you have in the PSnare device itself.. It sounds really punchy!
its very similar to the pkick. I will upload it into my repo on github soon github.com/polarity/polarity-music-tools/
I thought it was really interesting that you were polling LUFS per group, rather than than the composition as a whole. I'm not a fan of that, but I'm curious if there is a story behind what lead you to start doing that? Awesome work!
fantastic - please do another genre - mainroom house, etc
@Polarity I'd like to use some of your tracks in my content. What is your policy on this, if I purchase them on SC am I ok to play them?
Yea just use them, maybe drop a link to my channel or bandcamp somewhere. ❤️
@@PolarityMusic Awesome! Just picked up a couple albums-
do you have any templates for download
not really templates but you can look into my project share playlist. all these projects are free to download ua-cam.com/play/PLyCfny1Hc_bvFLYu-4vsv-W30EPXHrCkU.html
@@PolarityMusic thanks for the reply! all your content is great!
great video, but why you nothing do with side section on the master bus ? think whole track after pushing mid section bringing came to little bit mono
Maybe I forgot. But it's up to your taste in the end.
@@PolarityMusic got it
