Ya, im from Chicago and I have seen atleast 1 in my back yard in the summer. Idk the species exactly. I think it was your common green stick insect. Pretty cool though.

Dont use substrate if uve got 300 of them that will turn into 6000 real quick if u dont take the eggs out and u wont be able to do that with substrate ur better of putting paper towels down on the bottom with ivy

i have 3 adult stick insects and just last night i decided to take out the eggs and counted 289, im going to let them hatch and give them away to some friends, also 9 just hatched today

Came her 4 months ago when my insects laid eggs....... Back here 4 months later when they're starting to hatch
I love my sticks a few have greedy personally they want to just climb on me its great having sticks to talk to. I find eggs every day.
what do you do when they hatch and they’re like a few days old and not eating i don’t have the same stick bug as you but i’m sure they take the same care (my big one eats rose leaves)

Also from Ireland and I got mine yesterday! I also couldn't find eggs so I decided to get some adolescents from a website based in Cork. They all came really healthy and they were very cheap! If you're still looking and can't find eggs, I would definitely recommend.
