The best one was yesterday when Mike Joy said " Tony Stewart beat Truex here in 2016" like bruh that was Hamlin

Darling Cup when Byron was put into the wall by Logano
Daytona for Trucks with Anderson nearly winning
iRacing which isn’t exactly supposed to be serious
Allmendinger at Fontana
And Eldora finish
For the JH Nemechek and the 7 Jimmie Johnson clip, Vince and Mike were probably getting information from their headset. For Welch, he probably had a pit reporter tell him what was happening to Nemechek so that Vince could say what happened so that's why he was stuttering a bit during the last lap. For Joy, the producer probably told him through the headset that they were cutting to Larry and Mike needed a segue so he cut off the champion part of Jimmie Johnson so he could get to Larry asap. I've called numerous games and my director is trying to tell me information while I'm calling, and it's tough to talk while someone is talking in your ear.

Not gonna lie, NASCAR on FOX Sports fell off since 2015 when Cup and Xfinity were on FOX/FOX Sports after ESPN and TNT left :(

Vince Welch had a decent call there, the problem was Mikey coming in during that moment trying to overpow him when it wasn't needed. The play by play is the one to call the winner - Mikey had a chance to wait to say it instead of being impatient. It ruined Vince's call from being noticed
Mike was just dead all year this year
its so funny because theres people that do iRacing commentary for 20 bucks that sound better and have more passion than Fox - its crazy

Love him or hate him, Vince Welch was an entertaining commentator
I don't totally agree, I think he lacked tons of energy but he had some underappreciated calls for sure I will give him that! I would rather him over Jamie Little but both were better as pit reporters

For as enthusiastic as Bowyer is sometimes, he really seems to lack energy when it would actually improve the broadcast.
To some, it will never be perfect and they will always complain however Bowyer can't be too loud and obnoxious or too quiet and boring lacking energy. He needs to find a middle ground

With all due respect, I really don't think it is a great call at all, in fact the opposite. It may only seem like a good call because of how funny of a messed up call it is. But hey, thats just my personal opinion
I hope that after 2031, Fox doesn't carry any NASCAR series. My opinion, they've gotten worse since they basically killed Speed.

@@ryanocon31 Not to mentioned the not so needed change of the scrolling ticker at the top of the screen to right(originally) then to left. Which blocks that portion of the screen. "If it isn't broken, don't fix it."
The Logano/Byron one wasnt that bad cmon now.

You know what I’m tired of, FOX playing freaking spotter audio on the LAST LAP. Like I’m trying to hear a call, not spotters constantly talking over the broadcasters. Fox’s production team is so awful

Vince Welch was horrible at Play by Play, not putting LarryMac back in the booth when DW retired and Gordon left was a bad idea, and having Mike Joy deal with Clint Bowyer and a guest Comentator every single week and basically make him carry the broadcasts was not good either. Last year was the most slips Id heard from him ever, but I really think that Bowyer bouncing off the walls and guests were why. Hopefully Harvick can keep Bowyer calm and Mike can do his thing.
We need to fix the Truck Series, Vince Whelch is horrible. Jamie Little doesn’t even speak halve the time, and the other commentators just sit there and don’t do anything. It’s really a shame because Fox had the best commentary now they seem like the worst.
I still feel like in terms of commentators for FOX, Adam Alexander is doing pretty decent, Phil Parsons is actually pretty decent for driver knowledge considering he hasn't driven in over 20 years. Mike Joy may be on the decline but he's still not terrible whereas hopefully Harvick can add something to that booth
@@ryanocon31 Hopefully Harvick can improve but not right out of the gates. This will be his first season of commentary, so I don’t see him doing much in his first year. The Truck Series needs to get drivers in the booth not pit reporters, Jamie Little has been bad in her first year and Vince Whelch makes mistakes, after mistakes. I wouldn’t mind seeing Regan Smith in there or Kurt Busch
@@Gooeyburger86 The Truck Series had Adam Alexander in for a few races, I'm not sure why they didn't use him more. If they want Jamie Little so badly, she needs to stay doing only Arca for 90% of the time as that will be the only way she can learn

@@ryanocon31 Yeah I agree with Adam Alexander there. He’s a good commentator for Xfinity and definitely should be in Trucks, Jamie needs time and rushing her up to Truck’s was a bad idea. Her being in ARCA is the better move for her

The 2023 Daytona call is the worst one imo. One of the greatest races in the world on the final laps and that the call? They sound like they’d rather be at a bingo convention

The problem with the call is Mikey cutting in at a moment where the play by play guy takes over and calls the finish, Mikey got too impatient and definitely could have waited because it makes Vince's call just get shut down
